2018 Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD Autopilot and Supercharging Demo and Buyers Guide

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The Model 3 Long Range is an excellent choice for electric car ownership, capable of going over 300 miles on a full charge, there is no other non-Tesla electric vehicle for sale in the U.S., that can go that far! Horsepower is a little bit of a mystery on the Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD, some estimate between 270 and 350-hp based on its performance, capable of 0-60-mph in 4.2 seconds. Electric motors provide instant torque unlike a gas engine that needs to rev up to make maximum power; you get it right away with this Model 3. The interior is sparse yet elegant and unlike any other vehicle on the road, its truly is an automotive breath of fresh-air. Almost all the functionality and settings are accessed through the central screen which is as easy to use as an iPad. With the Model 3 your smartphone is your key and with the Tesla app you can make a service appointments, control certain settings on the vehicle and get real-time charging and security information.

Thank you for providing an awesome video with great, practical information. I get sick of watching vids with constant music and a million edits. Substance over style👍🏽

Thanks for the video. When I told the guys at my job that I wanted to buy a Tesla they wanted to hang me. That's because these guys are old school so I understand. Also, people tell me, "oh the Tesla battery only last 7 years" (I know you showed the google search of how long a Tesla last) I hear this a lot. I think I'm pulling the trigger. I have a tundra 2010 and I pay at least 360 to 380 a month on gas. As a matter a fact at one point I know I spent 400 bucks on my thirsty tundra. So my plan is to keep the tundra for Home Depot runs and the Tesla for daily driving (to work....etc). Im thinking about the 2021 model 3 because of the heat pump. What is your take on the 7 years rumor of battery life? Final question is do you know if it's a big deal to concentrate on getting the heat pumped Tesla or does the old method good enough? Again thanks for the video.

I think you are making a wise choice! Use your truck for truck stuff and save on wear and daily drive a Tesla, you will save on maintenance and gas! The Model 3 has only been out since 2017 but there is speculation that the battery and drive units could last 20-30 years and up to 300-500k miles. I think at the least, you should be able to get 20 years 200k miles from the battery. I dont buy them but I do see lots of Model 3s at auciton with over 100k miles so I think its a matter of time before we start seeing more high mileage examples.
