Good you brought that up, he got a lot of hate before even being able to prove his skill. I actually have him in my fantasy team for this week, was hoping he'll get to Q3 or at least start from 11th but I guess 13th isn't too bad In that car. Tomorrow will be crucial though, with some luck he might finish in points but that's why I was hoping for him to be 11th or top 10 but fingers crossed. I like this kid so far.

Vettel did great to come within 0.3 seconds and be a mere thousands behind in sector 1 and 2. But Ricciardo's pole is on merit, I doubt that Verstappen could've gotten ahead of Vettel. Well done Daniel! Superb job! But race win is for Seb today.

There are few driver scarier than an angry Daniel Ricciardo

We all take the piss when drivers make mistakes but, we have to give them all respect when we see them driving as fast as they can around a track that's tight and has a hazard at every turn. All that in the fastest cars F1 has ever seen. That said, I'm really disappointed that Verstappen crashed in FP 3. He and Ricciardo would have had a great battle in quali. I feel robbed. Ricciardo was amazing today though. He went faster and faster!

So were Gilles Villeneuve and Ronnie Peterson - and neither of them were world champions. You see, a driver needs to be a lot more than just fast with hopeless cars. He needs to be able to develop it with the team, cooperate and provide feedback, above all be the driving force in the team and as such improving it.

The Raging Storm well it doesn't seem like you know what F1 tradition really is. For you its loud cars, in reality its about pushing technology to the limit and being pinnacle of the sport and industry. That's what modern F1 always was and always will be. The "roaring" V10's were unreliable as fuck, most engines were good for one racing weekend which made it a nightmare for less rich teams, they were also using 4 times as much fuel by going several seconds slower than V6's at their 50% or less efficiency. For you its about how loud them engines are but do you really think that any of the engineers or engine designers ever bothered their head with sound of engine when they build it? So what tradition are you even talking about?
