I just bought a 2017 and it is a dream. It is the last year before they got the big overhaul in 2018. Only 26,000 K's on it. I can only imagine how great this one is. I did test drive one and it was white as well. So nice. A real dream. Theres tons of room. These vehicles are well designed and thought out. I had a 1989 Blazer by GM and the Enclave's put them to shame. You have the whole world in your vehicle. Sirrus Radio, Wifi, Handsfree radio, Hands Free phone, and more options then you can believe.

You guys did an awesome job on that review! I loved watching it. What a great car!!!! Thanks for sharing.

kateschwanke yes and SUV. I’ve got two kids and one on the way. Need room for two rear facing car seats and one in a booster. Plus my husband is 6’6” so need him to fit in the front with a rear facing car seat behind him. Love how the captains chairs move back and forth which should allow him the room he needs. I’m obsessed with this SUV! Oh and the secret storage space in the trunk...🤯!!

We have an older Enclave but we love it! We also have 3 kiddos and have taken several long distance trips in it and it is so roomy. We also have an Infinity QX60 which I think may be similar interior size wise to your Volvo but we definitely prefer our Enclave for longer trips:)

I just wanted to say that this was a great video and it actually helped us decide on getting a new Buick Enclave. We have just recently started our car shopping just a couple weeks ago. We started to look at the pick up trucks because my dad wants the cargo space and wanted to be able to tow things. But then just a week ago we came to realization that given with the size of our garage that a pick up truck just would not fit. So we decided to move on to the large SUV. And then there was the new Enclave. This past weekend we took a test drive in the Enclave and we really liked everything about it. I, myself was thoroughly surprised with it. Back in 2009 we looked at the Enclave but were turned off by how the engine wasn’t smooth when it shifted gears and the dealer that we were at just wouldn’t negotiate with us. So we eventually went with the Acura MDX. I enjoyed how y’all explained everything about the car. Especially about the adaptive cruise control and infotainment center. I also liked how you explain everything about the leather and furnishings inside the car because it did really look luxurious. I just wanted to say thank for this helpful video. This helped me really understand what everything was and what everything did. I just wish y’all had the rear infotainment screens with the DVD player so I could see how that looks but it’s all okay 😊😅

It's not easy to talk and do a review on camera, I'm sure, but this is one of the best "amateur" car reviews I've ever watched. Great job. We cant afford the '18 but we're looking at probably a 15-16'. Still very nice but not as nice as this!

Gorgeous, it's true Buick is NOT your grandparents car!!! The young people who look at Buicks almost always buy Buicks, they have such value so much for the money!!!

I currently own a 2012 Buick enclave with 201,000 miles on it. I bought it brand new and have loved it. It has served my family well. My only complaint is Buicks horrible customer service for maintenance. They are very rude and unprofessional. I owned a Lexus RX prior to the Enclave. Lexus treats there customers well. I suggest anyone looking to buy a Buick looks at the reviews of their dealers maintenance and service center.

I think it really depends on where you go! Every dealership is different. When we had our Volvo XC90, we LOVED it....but the customer service at our Volvo was AWFUL and about an 1.5 hour drive to get there on top of it. The Buick dealership we’re at now is awesome!

Looking at a 2018 Enclave Avenir that is almost identical to this one. This was a great overview. I'm upgrading from a 2008 Enclave CXL. Thank you.

I have watched so many videos on this particular vehicle and y'all was the only one that really really really went into Depp about all these features I mean there was features that they didn't even mention in the video thank you so much for sharing I really appreciate that

I have no reason to watch this video but it was great! Haha. I know it’s random but have you considered throwing in random vlogs to your channel? I think I’d be great to see how you handle day to day life as a military wife/ family. Also because you’ve mentioned your hubby is gone a lot with his job. My husband is also in the military (we live overseas) and sometimes it’s stressful being away from family & friends. Bought the Avenir 2018 in May of this year. After 1000 km the transmission broke and had to be replaced. Ever since the engine light came on 3 times. Took it in and they tell me its fixed, but light still comes on now and then. The car is also slow and underpowered - my 2011 Enclave performed better. Have about 9500 km on the odometer, but thinking of trading it in.

Its funny that my uncle kept saying "No Buicks, Only Germans know true Luxury". I showed him this vehicle and he said Gorgeous, and would not get out of it. He is a die hard Mercedes fan. I'm waiting for a Regal Voltec Avenir. That would be my ideal car.

Your Baby is very cute :). Brings back memories when my brother was a baby and I sat next to him. I like the Regal Avenir. I just wish it was available as a relatively spacious plug in Hybrid. I would like something the size of a regal that gives me the gas mileage of a prius. It's $3.15 for regular here, and I don't want something thirsty. The regal in china does sell as a hybrid, and uses American batteries. But, it's not available in the US in that configuration. That's kinda why I'm turning my head towards the Volt, although the back seat will be very uncomfortable when I need to ferry my friends around (we are all close to 6').

Our kids go to the same school and I would pass you everyday in your Volvo. It was so pretty I wanted one. I was in a mini van lol. I went down to buy a Volvo. It was used and I just couldn’t do it. I ended up with a 2018 Chevy traverse RS. I love it! Very similar to yours but it’s not a top model so I don’t have the lane keep or the adaptive cruise control but I do have the 360 camera and the rear view camera. And girl I don’t know how y’all drive with that thing on. It makes me sick! Beautiful car you have there. It really is perfect with 3 kids. I have a baby jogger stroller and I have to pop off the back wheel to make it fit. Maybe I should look into the one you have. But we just found out we are having number 4. Sometimes I wish I would have kept my van. But we will make it work. I love my car.

Hi!! How cool that our kids go tot he same school! Yes, the Volvo was a GREAT car! But, I honestly love this one even more! The set up, comfort and features are perfect for us 🙌🏻 I can’t drive with the rearview mirror on either 🤣 I get sick too haha! But my hubby doesn’t have any issues with it. I like to use it when I back up though for extra peace of mind!

Yes the extra piece of mind is nice. My husband always says you don’t need all that. Uh yes I do. Lol. I don’t want to hit anything. I honestly have no idea how I had a Yukon years ago before they started putting in back up cameras. I guess now I’m just more paranoid.... and spoiled. ☺️

I bought the XC90 last December but I think I should’ve bought the Enclave. The XC90 screen is too slow for me...especially from start up and you wanna change the temperature right away. Back up camera can be slow too. It bugs me that the sun visors aren’t adjustable at all either. I like it’s engine power though.

Wasn’t ready for a minivan so It was between an enclave or the traverse high country and went with the traverse but this is very similar to my high country ! Yay for new family cars!

The biggest reason was because the Volvo dealership was an hour and a half away from where we lived. Just too far a drive with three children in tow! We’re much happier now :)

I traded my 2012 Chevy Traverse LT to a 2021 Enclave Avenir 3 months ago, i love my traverse but the newer enclave is way better when it comes to comfort, gas mileage and technology.

I love this. I'm excited for my 2020 Avenir! My lease on my 2017 is just about over. I've had an Enclave now since they came out, awesome vehicle! I heard it's changing again for 2021. I'm not sure what they can do better lol... I know the 2020 changed a bit. I think massaging seats come standard. Anyway great review!

I was ready buy one (2018 Avenir) but the seat vibrators are two metal rods that run right under the seatpan side bolsters and they dig into your thigh. So ended up getting an Essence which doesn't have the seat vibrators.

I’m not quite sure what these seat vibrators are that you’ve mentioned here 🤔 I’ve been driving this vehicle for the past 2.5 years and it’s been very comfortable for me.

I have a 2008 and one of my favorite features is how the headlights turn as you turn the car. I was wondering if these newer models have this feature. It was really good on winding roads at night

Lovely car and good video, but with the auto shut off feature when you come to a stop at a light, it's a dealbreaker. I have driven several GM cars with this feature that ended up getting a check engine light prematurely. If GM made it optional to disable the auto shut off feature such as Ford and other foreign vehicles, I would certainly buy an Enclave or LaCrosse today.

What made you switch cars?

Hi! The XC90 was a GREAT car and I loved it! We had no issues with it. The only reason I traded the XC90 for the Enclave Avenir is because our Volvo dealer was an hour and a half away, and that was just way too far! Since purchasing this car, I have not missed my XC90. I love this car even more!

My mom traded in her 2018 Cadillac Escalade 4wd in for this exact vehicle in the same trim level. I made fun of her and still do 😂 bcuz she drives a Buick lol. Our household has a 2018 Buick Enclave, 2019 Mercedes CLA, 2016 BMW i3 REX, 2015 bmw i3 REX, and lastly a 2018 Cadillac XTS. Like I tell my mom ENJOY your grandma mobile!

kateschwanke my mom loves it since it’s perfect for her and my little brother who is 1 and a half! Him and I have a 15 year age gap 😳. I love my 2019 Mercedes CLA which is considered the “poor mans” Mercedes but hey it’s what a part time job can afford a 16 year old.

Antonio Jimenez it does pretty well on gas! Also, because we can use regular and aren’t forced to use Premium, it’s a lot cheaper than when I had my Volvo.

I bought one last month

I saw your Facebook comment about Volvo dealer being 1.5 hours away...I agree, that’s a tough one! We currently have a 2012 Enclave, in the market and it literally is down to Avenir and XC-90. I was all set with Avenir until I found out about Start-Stop feature that GM doesn’t allow to disable! We are in super hot Houston with rough traffic...was worried about AC, have you noticed any downgrade in AC output when it powers off at stops? Thanks!

Yeah, unfortunately Volvo was just wayy too far away! I honestly haven’t noticed much of a difference than from what my Volvo used to do at stops. With the Volvo, you could turn it off of course, but we chose to always keep it on to improve fuel efficiency. I’ve actually noticed, with the Enclave Avenir, it cools down much faster than the Volvo did as well as puts out a better Airflow!

Actually I heard that the A.C. And Radio stays on when the Enclave turns off but not 100% sure, I would stake a test drive

When the ac is running pcb the higher setting the car won't shut off

From what I have noticed... the car starts back up if the AC starts to fall behind... so no issue there

The layout works a lot better for our family, so for that reason I love it over the Volvo 😊

Happy new car guys 😘 We dont have Buick in the UK so it was nice to see this one. I have just bought a new car too. I got a Mercedes-Benz GLA Class AMG Premium. In a very dark metallic Purple love love it 😊 Always exciting getting a new car 🚗😜
