Rudransh Juneja, it's not hard for anyone to afford a Mid range SUV like X1 or XC60, if you're living in any developed country. Also I checked the price in India. Here in Norway the XC60 costs about 35% less.

Did you notice the Swedish flag on the driver seat next to your shoulder?

The new car may be best in class, there is no doubt about it but the quality of customer service form Volvo India is not at all acceptable for a Brand like Volvo. My 2 years old XC 60 is resting in my garage since almost a month without any use because of the difunctional Air conditioner caused due to leakage in Expansion Coil and the Service Centre has till now no clue when they will receive the replacement part. It is absolutely not what you expect form a Car for which you paid 55 lacs. So I would first suggest Volvo to improve its quality of After Sales Service and then launch new car models.

Hello sir i m really sad to know about that there are no more paddle shifters in the upcoming inscription model of xc60 i have been toh the showroom yesterday in lucknow and when i started test driving it i notice that its a such faulty mistake when i asked the sales person he said its a simple cost cutting because of the increasing import duties i think its a protocol that cars of these segment should get paddle shifters

Beautiful car... i wish they reduce the engine specs ( around 170-150HP and 350-400 nm ) and increase mileage , reduce few non-critical safety features, avoid not much important comfort few features, replace adjustable air- suspension with firm and cost efficient suspension and finally reduce the price from 55 lakhs to 25-30 lakhs.... SO that people like us can afford hahaha...

ALDRENO LINLON LATHANIA There will likely be more affordable versions soon without air suspension and with less power and fewer features. But most of the safety systems will remain and the price won't go as low as 30 lakh. Might drop below 50 though.

Surbhit Kumar Great question. Wondered that myself as they will be priced not too far apart. I think the trade off is that the V90 CC gives you more luxury but the XC60 gives you the traditional SUV feel, so it's a matter of preference. I feel the XC60 will still be more popular amongst Indian buyers though :)

Prem Danane Not compulsory. It's where the car manufacturer chooses to register their cars. Many are MH because many of their offices/factories are in Maharashtra. Many are HR and TN as well. :)

The gearbox is the dumbest among the euro cars and the engine has a way lot turbo lag. Shame because the handling and ride are stellar

Volvo is seriously undercutting the competition when it comes to options and features even the top trims of the mercs and bmws omit so many things like air suspension , heated and cold seats with massage Volvo even introduced there entire product lineup in india, that says a lot to the other idiots who introduce select models with watered down options , the V90 was the first new wagon to be ever introduced in india and the equivalent merc that was introduced later on only after volvo, cost way more for literally half the features and an under powered engine and cost 10 lakhs more . pathetic when you have to pay more to get less from merc and bmw compared to the other markets and its refreshing to see volvo treat the indian market the same as other countries across the world .. honestly pisses me off seeing the cost cutting on even the highest trims on the bmw and mercs and audis ,while the cost is still substantially more than the volvo , your paying essentially these companies for the privilege to get a watered down car as they see fit what Indians and this country only deserve or need

No. It is imported. If it is made in India it would stand between VW, Skoda and Merc, Audi,BMW. It is cheaper alternative for german.
