It’s sad to see what I Infinti has become. They were the cool kids on the block back then. But Nissan just kinda gave up on ‘em. I’m still rooting for them. I hope they bounce back.

I read an article about this vehicle when it was cancelled, and it said Mercedes and BMW have improved on the coupe styling and this Infiniti style was outdated. I don't think there has ever been a better styled vehicle than the FX35/37/50 and QX70. I have always loved the unique look of this Infiniti sleek crossover. The newer GT styling doesn't appeal to me. If an FX50 or a blacked out version of one of the other models shows up near me, I may buy it.

I am not a SUV person, although they claim 95% of us Americans are only buying SUV's because it's a new trend 🙄 whatever...lol this is the only SUV I like to drive. Its shape and odd styling sticks out compared to the rest of the Luxury line up. Back in 2008 I rented on and so many people stared at it. I was disappointed that Infiniti discontinued it back in 2017

I had a 2009 FX35 that I loved. Just to correct the narrator, the 2009 FX was the first year with this body style - though there were some minor changes made in 2011 (grill, minor interior changes). As others have said, this car was definitely ahead of it's time. Aggressive, futuristic styling, 360 degree camera, bluetooth, navigation all back in 2009! I finally sold it (at a premium) in 2021. I was hoping that Infiniti would keep their edge and come out with a worthy replacement. Unfortunately that ended up being an overpriced QX55. Needless to say I was disappointed & ended up leaving Infiniti & going with an X3. It was a great ride while it lasted.

Thanks for the video, even if I'm late to the show. The FX35/QX70 is a very appealing vehicle, and I am a Nissan/INFINITI fan. In the end we got a Q50 and QX56.

The FX45 and F50 will start going up in value in 2 years

QX70 5.0L would be the ideal [Man Van] for school pickup. I also have a Ram 2500 but preferred dailying my Dad spec 04 Murano until a deer totaled it last week so I'm looking for a FX50, FX35 or QX70.

Still more beautiful than most of the latest vehicles out there

I love this FX/QX since the first 2003 model, I think it has some cartoonish big wheels and long hood style that it’s very unique. I also like the new Genesis GV70 because it kinda looks similar with some different unique styling inside and outside

Genesis is a lot like the way Infiniti used to be, I totally agree. I have a 2009 FX35, for it's day it feels like it was far ahead of the competition. Compared to my husband's 2009 RX350 and my previous car (2008 ES350), it feels a bit more updated. Another thing, it genuinely feels and drives as amazing as it looks. My husband frequently says it feels like his old mustang in terms of being connected to the road.

I have a 2010 fx35 and it blows my mind every time I see the interior of a newer one. It’s almost identical. They made very few changes to this vehicle through the years.

Can you please tell Nissan they need to release a new version with the VR30 Twin Turbo they can even base it off a next gen Q50.

They are amazing. We just took in a 2013 FX37 which is pretty much the same vehicle as the QX70 and I'm thinking very seriously about getting it for my wife. I have been with INFINITI close to 17 years and in my view the FX37/QX70 is the best crossover they have ever made.

The CVT is the ones that has issues, they only use the CVT on front wheel drive based platforms for INFINITI and Nissan products. On rear wheel drive based platforms like this QX70 it has a 7-speed automatic which is a very reliable transmission.

Y’all been sleeping. Infiniti had the performance suv first.

I really hope they bring this car back, it's way more practical than the GLE coupe and the X6. I really wished to have seen this car evolve further... The QX55 isn't really IT.

A Nissan Murano is based off the Nissan Altima FWD Platform and is built in a factory in the U.S. and has a CVT transmission, the QX70 is based off the RWD 370Z Sports car platform and is built in a factory in Japan and has a traditional 7-speed automatic. You are comparing apples to oranges. Contrary to what you think we have dozens of happy customers we see on a regular basis that love their QX70 and dont think anything about it is overpriced, if anything is over engineered

The muranos suck ass and he explained best below 👇🏻. It’s like you comparing a civic to the new Acura Type S. Muranos have that vq-de v6 mounted transversal making only 256 hp still since 04 🤣
