I own one in championship white. The car is a monster. You can’t say the isn’t well built. It’s perfectly done. Also you can talk the dealer price down. They were asking 50k I walked out paying 39k

$44,000?? You can get one all day here in Jacksonville, Fl and Orlando for MSRP at $35k. Some dealers are even giving specials down to $33K. Dont pay dealer markups wherever you are and question their values.

Yeah that dealer is delusional if they think they can move that CTR for 44k. Don't get me wrong the CTR is a great car but ain't no one paying markup for this car anymore

Yeah...$44k...I'll get back to you on that...but dealers around DC are charging $43k, soooo... But at the same time I don't hink you can get these "all day" anywhere for 33k. I paid a fair price for one in Championship White and am loving every mile.

@@gordongt1272 Yeah. In Florida you can find them at MSRP. Dealers here can't legally sell a vehicle above MSRP without consent of the buyer. So then it becomes a bidding war if another person has interest in the same car. But most dealers here have one on the lot or just go to the next town

The 2019 Honda Civic going to have volume knobs about time

They’re just something about the Type R, I don’t know whether to love it or hate it. Debating one of these for my next car or a Focus RS

This car is more geared towards the enthusiast who loves Honda’s. It is high in price though but I think this car has a market, it’s just not for everyone.

My only complaint about this car is the sound. It’s quieter than our X3. Other than that it’s a fantastic car. Just think it needs more sound and tone to compliment its looks and performance. Also side note, do NOT pay more than 40k for this. I live in Ohio and you can get a 2018 type R with around 500 miles on it for around 35k. If you pay over 40k you’re getting ripped off.

45k is a crazy! That’s a 10k markup. Plenty of Honda dealers that are selling for suggested retail, 35-38k.

I've had all three. The Evo was weird. I never felt in control and the noise was obnoxious. The STI is still one of my all time favourite cars (Last of the last gen UK models). I never took it on track, but on roads it was sublime. It always did what I wanted it to. The Type R... It's in that niche of cars that remind you how good it feels to drive. Everything just links together. Also, pro tip. In the UK it's marketed as 316bhp because we get 99ron petrol on tap. Put some 99ron in and you'll immediately gain 10bhp :) Great review though, I loved the tech details at the start. You're one of the few who give out those details and it's actually useful.

I am debating between getting an Sti and a Type R. I did test drive an Sti and it was really fun to drive. It felt so raw and very engaging. Unfortunately they don't let you test drive Type Rs but base on your experience does the Type R also make you feel the same way as the Sti?

I know this might sound like sacrilege but I don’t like that rear spoiler I would take it off I hope they refresh the body in the future

The same people that design for MSI video cards must have designed this thing!

You can’t compare a stock civic to a heavily modified evo. You could mod the civic, but sounds like a fun car.

Dashboard indicators is very “INNER” in the dashboard. I hate this...

I hate the automatic hand brake so sad it's not a manual one

Not sure if you had time to view the radio features but did this car have the subwoofer hidden somewhere in the storage area in the back? I actually like this car a lot!

Ive seen like 2 of these around me..one of them is a neighbor actually i love the exterior n interior of the car..those bucket seats are bad ass but i had a wrx limited n dont get me wrong i loved that turbo but the horsepower is shit..i definitely am looking for more power but am not really trying to spend 60-100 gs on a car rn lol

Yeah they look like sensors but they’re just plastic covers made to look like sensors that car doesn’t have any traffic sensors at all. But is a very nice well-made car other than that.

I’ll stick with the GT-R all the way!!
