Thanks for sharing your video. I thought I had a bad pump, found out it is the crossover pipe as well. It will take 2 weeks before I can get it in the shop but I figured I would let the pro's who work only on Jaguars take on this task. Take care!

Also, buy the metal 3rd party crossover pipes. They'll last a lot longer. Plastic sucks.

Found a guy on a Jag forum who just removed the water pump and could get to the two screws on the crossover pipe with a couple of knuckles on his wrench without removing the super charger. Wow, that would be easier

Is that port on rear of supercharger passenger side just blank or open to air , it looks like a hose could go on it but there isn’t one there?

I remember from the previous video you mentioned you'd replaced the water pump already? I have the same problem with my XF replaced the water pump etc thermostat housing still got a coolant leak in the engine V! Suspect this same cross over pipe is the cause! Heard some nightmare stories about removing the supercharger! People having to use engine cranes & sh@t to remove IT! My question would be? If you had already removed the water pump, do you think you could replace the crossover pipe without taking off the supercharger!??

What is the best way to remove the supercharger? I understand the 2 dowels on the bottom tend to get stuck. I viewed one video where an engine hoist was used and that could have been a catastrophe. Surely there has to be a better way. Thanks.

The small fitting on the water pump where the small line goes into it is leaking right at the fitting Is the fitting itself replaceable or would I have to replace the whole water pump to fix the leak? I just replaced crossover pipe got it mostly back together. And started leaking when I put coolant in

Hello I have a jaguar xes 3.0 2017 which is disappearing / lowering the coolant and I can't find the place. I found nothing in the water pump and no liquid leaks onto the floor. Do you have any idea where the coolant is disappearing?

I have the same problem and found out the coolant transfer pipe behind the supercharger is leaking. You can see the residue on top of your transmission housing when you look behind your supercharger down to the transmission.

My 2015 LR4 60k miles with same 3.0 supercharged motor as this Jag and it sprung a small leak from the thermostat. Knowing these vehicles have issues with the cooling system I went ahead and had the shop replace all the known issues, water pump, front / rear coolant pipes and thermostat. It now blows white coolant smoke out of the tailpipes on start up with misfires in cyl 5 and 6. Any suggestions? Shop is saying possible blown head gasket. I’m the original owner and the vehicle has never overheated, with no motor problems whatsoever. It’s back at the shop as of today.

Have a head gasket leak test performed or buy the kit and do it yourself. It's very easy and will check if there are exhaust glasses in your coolant.

It was a nightmare to say the least. Took 6 months to get it back on the road.
