So annoying that half the comments are about Rita and Andre being beautiful...is anyone going to comment on the fact that not only are they both fantastic singers, but on top of that, holy CRAP can they each play!

A trumpet solo without screaming screeching high notes? Impossible...... Such musicality, I can't stop listening to this channel!

The excellence of your group never stops. Just gets better and better.

Here, as in several other videos, Rita and Andrea share the spotlight. In yet others, they happily share the background together. Its a non-competitive selfless attitude that is totally foreign to today's pop music culture. For the kids here, including Andrea and Rita, its not about them; its not about fame or prominence, its about the music. It only happens in jazz. --- NCJ

Totally agree, except that "it only happens in jazz". It occurs whenever true musicists are involved - no matter the style, here in Brazil and I guess everywhere else. Yes: very well done girls! Keep humble and practicing!

Oh yes, I think all these kids grow up musically from an early age with this thought under the influence of Joan Chamorro

Heaven is at the studio with Andrea, Alba and Rita... My goodness...they have heavenly talent.

Rita and Andrea at the same place same time is an absolutely joy. Love you !

What fun to listen to and seeing the younger generation loving it to make these old pieces timeless.

These kids are great. So much of music from the swing - jazz era seem forgotten in the US where I live. Nice to see it appreciated in Europe and other parts of the globe.

How many decades have passed since the Fred and Ginger movie yet the song is as fresh as spring rain. These kids are something else !

I listen to this kind of music, very often from Sand Andreu Jazz School, most mornings just after breakfast and it lifts my whole day.

I love to hear Rita sing. That sweet accent, as well as her voice, great talent.

my goodness, how great all the musicians pulled together by Joan Chamorro are! Every song, every pickup, every solo, every lead, perfect. How I wish I have heard of them earlier! Amazing!

Love this cut! I’ve listened to it many times. Andrea and Rita are working together so very well. It’s interesting to hear the difference in phrasing between the two. Luigi is like an unexpected clap of rolling thunder out of the blue ... WOW!! The whole group is superb. Thank you for this magnificent recording. ❤️

As I was listening to Joan sing, I was thinking "Wow! What a beautiful tone this girl's voice has; along with outstanding vocal control...she was born to sing." But then..."What's this!? Now she's picked up a trumpet and has just started playing it as masterfully as she sings." Just how talented can one person be?

It is great to know that jazz is still in excellent young hands. I was going to have an early night until I started listening to these brilliant players and it is already 01.00!

With this talent I am sure jazz/swing will never die.

Love it all, but particularly the ripping bari, although I've noticed a brave young lady wielding one in previous settings. A welcome addition to this always tight ensemble. The young lady would be Alba Esteban who competently plays every sax from soprano to bari as well as clarinet.

I just hope other young people will continue to keep these classic standards alive. We can't let this music go by the wayside and must keep it around. Great job by these youngsters!!!!😎😎🥁🥁🎺🎷🎵

I don't know how many dozens of times I've watched this, but I'm still knocked out by Andrea's solo especially. Perfection!

This is great on so many levels. Andrea and Rita compliment one another so very well in their singing. .Rita's trombone solo is excellent. Andreas tone is to wish for and with a perfect solo. Luigi's solo at first is shocking but so very appropriate.. Joan's bass is driving the beat with great energy. Josep's guitar solo is always spot on as is the great piano work and drums. Yes, I like it! :}

Every time I listen to this, I marvel at how it came to be that someone wrote the scat solo as a quartet, and even more amazing, these four young people learned it and practiced it until they totally nailed it. I am totally in awe at the talent of everyone involved at every step of the way. Bravo!!
