Joan always looks like he is in jazz heaven when he is playing or conducting. Oh to be lucky enough to love what you do for a living that much. Then you see him training all these young people and sometimes I think there is a god.

Her English just keeps improving in leaps and bounds. Watching Andrea mature as an artist is just amazing!

Andrea.....She is just absolutely lovely -- inside and out -- and the most authentic, poised, composed, creative singer I have had the pleasure of watching and listening to in recent memory. Her 'ways' both on and off the stage are adorable. The song "You Stepped Out Of A Dream", comes to mind. Of course, I also love Rita Payes, Magali Datzira, Alba Armengou, Eva Fernandez, Elia Bastida, Abril Sauri, Alba Esteban and ALL of the beautiful children in the "program" at SAJB -- and I mean this only to point to their young age; all I can add is a BIG......WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! Maestro Chamorro, you and your band have done it again!!! Simply amazing!

Great observation...in deed in a few years to come Andrea will be addresed as a jazz musician pioneer in Spain. I hope she never gives up trumpet playing to go vocalist full-time.

Andrea was born in 1995, so she was 23 years in recording time, but anyway exceptional gift.

I’ve been greatly impressed with Andrea Motis since she was very young. But my gratitude goes to the man right behind her, playing the bass (and sax). Yes, Mr. Joan Chamorro is way more than a colleague … he’s been her teacher, master and mentor, who must have taught her never to be fussy but always to be tasteful and classy. I don’t know much about the jazz scene in Spain, but I imagine Mr. Chamorro has been a leading jazz musician in the country.

@@garryberman894 Same thing happened to me several months ago, I don't remember how I found the first video, but I have watched hundreds I think, and I even flew to Barcelona to meet them at the Jazzing Festival in September!

"Pandemic lockdown" and then you discover Andrea and Joan Chamorro and - you can listen to this wonderful quartet all day! Talented bunch and am amazed and Andrea's Englis rendition, perfect diction! Bravo!!. The sound quality recording of this show is " wanting" but the music is pure Heaven! Thank you for bringing this to us in these challenging times.

Absolutely killin' it up tempo straight ahead. Keys. . .whew! 1:08:20 Andrea head tilt up on toes gettin' the grove. She killed it! Simply one of the "baddest" trumpet players anywhere. . . .and can sing too! And give the drummer some. Superb jazz listening by this band.

I have been listening to Andrea and this superb group of talented musicians every night before going to sleep. They help me avoid despair during a dark time in my country.

I can't stop telling you how much I love how you play, your style, your selections...!! you're awesome guys..!!

He's not that "old". He is prematurely gray. He is also blind, but it does not deter him from being masterful with his music. With a degree in classical music, teaches piano at the university in Barcelona, as well as plays with his fellow musicians giving concerts and local stage performances. He has -- as if the aforementioned comments were not enough -- a degree in computer science. Imagine, for a second, learning all those piano compositions in Braille and memorizing all the notes and musicians's notations for each composition! It takes a real genius, and Ignasi Terraza is just that! .... It works for me!
