love my 2014 but def could have used a stronger clutch, true forged rods, and bigger heat exchanger and this car would have been the king to this day

Just got mine...needs to be 4:10 gearing though. Who the hell is gonna be on the road doing 200mph? Give me down low tire shredding torque

I bought a 2011 GT500 in Nov 2010. Awesome car. I've driven V8 Mustangs for years. Used the Shelby as my daily driver. Needless to say my daily commute was something I looked forward to. I changed the Goodyear tires out quickly. They wear very quickly as they are shaved. Nitto Invo's were much better tires. This bodystyle was the last Mustang for me. The new design starting in 2015 doesn't look like a Mustang for me.

The car was heavily designed. The cooling system is a work of art. Car never fails best bang for you buck. Likewise for 2014 raptor you will have never have problems with a Baja 1000 ready daily driver lol

Great car but I don't see myself going 200mph anytime soon. Give me some 4:10 gears for some light to light action. Then again sixty miles an hr all the way in 1st gear does sound kinda fun

awesome job ford/svt.... even tho the brakes suck great job... my svt lightning also has crappy brakes but that wont STOP me from abusing the rear tires.. pun intended

dude revise brake fluid and honestly it could use some more rubber - zl1 has less power and wider tiers

this is why the GT500 is king of all muscle cars.it shits on CRAPMAROS and it will piss in the face of a tug boat challenger.

@scube steve SVT ordered the parts from a catalog, they didn't engineer anything unless they made something to turn the pages in the catalog SVT couldn't even make the engine block when it was only 550hp, Germans(Honsel) make the engine

***** If you're talking about when Ford took it to Nardo, you're wrong, Ford wouldn't let anyone in to see the proof and made no videos, they closed the course and ford claimed it did 202 No proof = nothing. testers in real life say it failed no matter how hard they tried to get it to 200

I own a 2013 GT500, on the I-10 going through Arizona in the desert at 4,000 ft above sea level and 77° out I did 202 mph on level ground. I did this twice once going east and once going west. I did it again in Colorado on the I-70 with my brother in the car who weighs 190 lbs. I am 145. So rest assured Ford told the truth. Also if you want proof you can find plenty of videos on KZread of people driving there 2013 and 14 GT500 at 200 mph. I didn't bother recording it because the videos are so common.

Tires definitely suck and got replaced immediately by michelin pss. And sorry SVT but the clutch is a piece of sh..! Anyway I love my 2014 GT500.
