2014 - 2015 Silverado / Sierra: 23 Pin Jump Seat Harness Validation and Removal

If you have a 2014 Silverado or Sierra Truck and want to upgrade from the jump seat, to a full center console, this video will show how to remove the jump seat and extract the harness.
For 2015 trucks, you will need to verify your jump seat harness connector type.
IF you have a 23-pin connector version, there will be a need to extract the jump seat harness and send it in. I will then build the conversion harness using your jump seat harness, and send it back to you.

In case anyone is like me and bought a 2014 truck that had the console swapped, but is missing this harness from the original jump seat - The part number I used to find this harness is 23200570, though there may be other part numbers that also work. I lucked out and happened to find one for sale on ebay at the time of writing this, but ymmv as this harness is discontinued.

I watched this video 3 times, i have a 2015 tahoe and it has the 16 pin but the harness on the center console i am putting in has the 23 pin... What should i do?
Im trying to remove my jump seat from my 2020 GMC. I will upgrade to a center console but how would I go about the harness for that one? I wanna be able to use the charging ports in the back and inside the compartment. I had the harness that came with the center console (already attached when removed) but need something to connect to my GMC

How hard is it to install a jump seat in a full console truck? Got a guy wanting to trade me for my jump seat
Im switching 14 jump seat for 16 jump seat, 16 interior was trashed, can i just switch harness from 16 into jump seat or are there other issues??
