2013 Jeep Wrangler Snow Drive Freedom Top Review: Jeep Week Video #7
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
( www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 Jeep Wrangler is a beast off-road. It is one of the best and most off-road worthy vehicles that you can buy today. But how does the iconic Jeep drive when the road turns while? We decided to find out. In this exclusive TFLcar video review we put the Jeep Wrangler Sahara to the test in the Colorado Rockies in about 2 feet of snow covered trail to see just how well the Wrangler drives in an ocean of snow. And since it was also a beautiful Colorado day...we decided to see just easy it was to remove the Jeeps twin Freedom Tops to take advantage of the sunny mountain day.
FYI: The Jeep Week Videos include:
1) Jeeps in the snow
2) Wrangler On-Road Review
3) 2014 SRT Grand Cherokee on Austin F1 Track
4) 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee off-road Review

Thanks for the kind comments. We grateful to have viewers like you.
Thanks for the kind words....very much appreciated. We're so lucky to have great fans and viewers. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the comment, and yes we know, but we wouldn't have gotten the cool video of the snow flying up from the front wheels.
The Jeep Wrangler. I love it. You hit it on head when you said" if it brings a smile to your face". I have had my JK for the past four months. And it dose bring out the kid in you. And it dose bring a smile to my face. Great video!
My 2015 JK Freedom Edition does great in snow. Thanks for the video guys!
Yay! Thanks for Jeep Week! It was amazing.
I absolutely love watching what stock jeep can do!!!
I really enjoyed this Jeep series! Thanks guys!
Love your videos!! Keep up the great work!
Great Question! The Sahara will do 80 percent of what the Rubicon model can do off-road without the penalty of massive knobby tires and added cost for the better off-road hardware. The question you might want to ask yourself is do you buy a Jeep for how you will use it most of the time (on pavement and off-road) or how you might use it (extreme off-road)?
Great video! This is what jeeps are made for!
I recently found you guys with all the Moparing and I gotta agree, great stuff. Pls keeo it up!!
Great job, guys!! I love Jeeps because I have two of them ( I also love muscle cars, reason why I bought a Charger RT). Cheers and keep doing these fine videos!!
enjoy your videos very much! you're both funny..and the music just adds to the enjoyment!
the weather looks soooo nice there! alot better than grey cold and rainy new york
Nice video as always
Ive never been to Colorado but it must be awesome. snow, nature, forest, and of course JEEPS!
great vid, good job, we all appreciate this very much!!! thanks!!!!!
Beautiful views, guys.
We believe it.
That Jeep and the Rocky Mountain scenery were Friggin BEAUTIFUL!! Thanks for giving me a more positive perspective on snow...that's quite the feat given the nasty storm which hit us yesterday here in Chicago. Great to see you guys having so much fun, esp with that mountain-side drop off only inches away...you daredevils (i.e. TFL Car: The Cirque de Soleil of Car Reviews?)!!
Wow, loved all the Jeep vids this week. You guys get to have all the fun! I'm sold on a Jeep, just don't want the fuel bill!
Cool feel good vid, thanks guys
love these guys. that's why we are sitting here on our computers and they are making it big and blowing up with sponsors and all
jeep week is great
finally a video series featuring an suv instead of a crossover, great video guys, i hope to see you review some other super 4x4 like a land rover defender or an FJ, Peace
Thank you. I will check it out.
Great video! Been watching this particular one for a long time ahahah! My wife has a 2013 JK 2 door Sport S 5 speed auto converted to JP29 from Jurassic Park and I have a 2020 JL 2 door Sport 6 speed manual converted into JW29 (Jurassic World; alter ego to my wife's jeep lol) my dad has a 2007 JK 2 door Rubicon 6 speed manual and a 2021 JLU SAHARA 2.0T. My mother had a 1981 CJ7 and had a 2004 Liberty Renegade (in 2009 traded it for a 2010 Commander Limited; she still has it). I was raised around Jeep Wranglers my whole life 😎👌they are exceptional off road vehicles! We love in Northern Ontario, Canada and these love winter haha. Now our almost 2 years old boy loves Jeeps, always wants a ride in them (already has a Jeep Wrangler powerwheels haha). Keep up the amazing work TFL 👏👏👏 love the Wrangler Gladiator videos 😎👌😈
I am glad you replied. Judging by the insecurity of your tone and the language you felt you must use to convey your message, You have just proven that the Jeep is not at Toyota's reliability level yet.
did you guys ever engage the front and rear lockers?
Hey you guys should do a review of a new 2013 Ford Platinum, thinking of buying one nd love your reviews, please do it!
what day was that. i really wanted to go to the swis trail with that much new snow. just havnt been able to line it up
roman how deep was that snow? and how much snow do u think the wrangler could drive thru
2015
Important question... How does the 2DR Wrangler perform in winter conditions? I have been told by many that it is not very good... due to short wheelbase.
My big question: is the Rubicon worth it for most people? What (if any) capability do you really give up? The Sahara seems extremely capable and its quite a bit cheaper... does it ride better? Does the Rubicon feel choppy on pavement? I want to buy one of these, but I'm not sure if springing for the extra hardware is worth it? Any thoughts, now that you have driven these all back-to-back?
I want one!
I am so very jealous of this... I wish East Texas got snow like this.
They already have diesel Jeep JK's, but is that when they will introduce them into the United States?
Lovely Daewoo Shirt!
thanks for this video I am looking to buy one of these soon as I pay my Volvo off in 7 months
Any word on when the Jeep Wrangler's will be receiving a diesel?
Second Generation RAV4 with dedicated snow tires.
I love yours videos!! P.S. Goodbye in Polish language is "do widzenia" ;)
WHy is Nathan wearing a Daewoo shirt? lol
Colorado snow is nice. Utah snow is nicer... Can't wait to get my Jeep.
They are both excellent, reliable offroad vehicles. Stop being a bunch of fanboys. I would drive a late-model tacoma/4runner or a wrangler/xj any day of the week and be happy..
i knew Jeeps were good off road and in the snow, but i was really impressed with how it just went through the deep snow without even breaking a sweat! All the more impressive when you factor in that it was on the stock tires, I think with with dedicated snow tires and a set of chains (just in case) you could pretty much go anywhere. Very impressive. Side note, Jeep, get rid of the silly Freedom top name, it just sounds.... silly,
Please do Nissan Xterra Pro-4x and FJ Cruiser Mashup
I crashed my jeep doing donuts in the snow. :( But i love my jeep, and it did definitely put a huge smile on my face for a long time.
Why when the timer start you went around the driver's side and you could have done the passenger side first and save 15 seconds and goin to the driver side first when you were closer to the passenger side
what vehicle is the camera car?
I love my diesel wrangler, nothing comes close to it. Even drove land rover discovery here in the UK but its not comparable! By the way jeep is my first new car.
Lada Niva will never die!
Cool episode. Donuts would have been easier without the front diff-lock on...
it has the 3.6 now. rated one of the top ten motors in the world
Surely that would be with the next generation wrangler. The 2.8 crd used in europe at the moment is an old merc engine i believe and is showing its age. The noise and mpg levels are well below par. Curious to see what fiat will bring to the table. Can't think of a diesel engine they currently make larger than a 2.4 that was used in the alfa 159 i believe.
You Guys have way to much fun!!! Nathan you are one Goofy SOB but I somehow find myself compelled to continue watching. I suppose thats all that really matters. Great entertainment!!
Roman -- you should've given Nathan a free 15 seconds due to the slick snow.
review the ford raptor in the snow
I take it the camera car was a jeep also?
Do a video in a toyota FJ cruiser
Cirque du soleil. Omelette au fromage. You're welcome pal!
I think I have watched every youtube review you guys have ever done. You guys should take over the American top gear presenters and show them how it's done.
put the 3L diesel from the grand Cherokee in a wrangler.. I would grab one of those in a heart beat.
The only wish for the Wrangler is for just a few modern tech features... maybe a Back-up camera and cross-path sensors. (Probably a Mopar add-on, please correct me if I'm incorrect) However, must Jeep Wrangler owners really don't care about many modern features. It's built for off-road, snow, and mud -- it's the ultimate classic 4X4. Want more convenience and creature comforts? -- Get a crossover....
I wish I could take my wrangler out in snow like that, but I dont think oklahoma has ever gotten snow like that
Very nice! Now if only gas would get under $3.00/gallon. Guess we will have to stick to our one 2004 Grand Cherokee.
How fast can you go in 4 wheel low and 4 wheel high and the other two I think they give you
@AnglerDanNE

cal905 4 low nothing above 10 mph and 4 high 45 mph
nathan, why are you wearing a daewoo shirt lol?
I'm not set on any car right now and may end up back living a "city" life so I might try a battery powered car and save some money on fuel. I've been researching diesel swaps for older Jeep's. If I need the 4wd I may just go that route.
33391jhih. Depends on what you want to do with it. If your interested in wheeling it and modifying it , i would hit up the wrangler. If your just a casual trail guy with mostly in town, its a toss up. The new wrangler has a great engine for everyday use and great interior. My dad owns an fj and likes it but i hate the cheap interior. I believe nissan stopped making the exterra as well.
FYI I leave the long bolts out of the top and it doesn't leak.
Ha ha u guys rock
55-60 degrees? Those are summer temperatures around here.
Believe it or not,i have just as much fun in the snow with my 02 awd Honda CRV,
i love how he is wearing a Daewoo shirt a company that been out of business for well over ten years now in the states
There is already one here in Europe. 2.8 V6 with 200 hp
I do Nathan... were them if you want my friend it is your show
Sorry to see you go. Good Bye.
What's with the Daewoo shirt?
Wow, no snow tires; by-the-way, that's a 500 ft. drop just to the right of your shoulder.
damn i wish i could drive mine in that snow
You know donuts are easier in 2wd, and that's not 2 ft of snow. I do love my wrangler though. Best car ever
My 2 wheel drive pickup could drive through that.
They said they had a Rubicon lol its a sahara
It got up to just over a foot. I think this Jeep could push through about 18 inches of snow fairly easily. Thanks for watching!
Waiting For Them To Slide Off The Trail Downhill
Tutorial on how to do donuts PLEASE ! please please please !
Sweet. Europe always manages to receive the great vehicles long before we Americans get a crack at them.
arazi şartlarında kulanılacak en uygun araç dağda arazıde her turlu yol şartında uygun bizim yollar hep ofraod yolu olduğu için kaçkar dağları çamlıhemşin yayları özellikle amlakıt yayla yolu, hiç sıkıntı çekmeyecek bir araç
If you can afford one of these - just do one from Bruiser Conversions.
They say its 55 degrees but I can see their breath...
It's called jeep week so
All Season tires are street tires; not snow!
I have a Daihatsu, Oldsmobile, Yugo, Edsel, AMC, Hudson and Suzuki shirt - to name a few. Now - Chad, do you understand why I wear them? Do you understand the irony?
bis später!
Jeeps are awesome, but $37'500!!! that's not right...
I would buy one if it is as reliable as a Toyota
Turn the wheel and hit the gas.
