Good to see the stock Rubi do the Rubicon. Love my 2013 Rubicon. It is amazing what it can do with ease.

They do have a traction control system that squeezes the brake on a slipping tire and causes the diff to lock up. And its extremely effective. Works just like a locker but it has to "spool" I guess you could say.

I just bought a brand new wrangler willys wheeler, and I think this video is pretty amazing on what they can do! And I wouldn't mind doing something like that with mine. But I wouldn't like any of my bumpers and fenders pretty banged up like some of those! I paid a lot of money for mine to have to replace brand new part just like that! Maybe after the jeep is over 10 years old. Maybe I would think about doing so, but pretty awesome video though👍🌵✌️

+Sean Olson well to answer yours! I will use mine offroading when I go to Arizona this Sumer! I've done some trails out there and I enjoy it very much. My response was! I would like to go and think that my jeep is a rock crawler, and start damaging bumper and fenders that gets quite expensive in repairs. But I do offroading ocationally. Do that answer yours??

I can understand what your saying jeeps are expensive if you wanna go wheeling just take your bumpers off then put them back on or save up and get some steel offroad bumpers that's what I did if my steel bumpers get to messed up I'll just put the stock ones back on but I've hit them on tons of rocks and no dents yet lol

I have done the Rubicon in a '82 Subaru wagon. I had to get pulled through a couple of spots, but it made it otherwise with no broken axles or anything... The rocker panels and bumpers were pretty hammered though.

+Steve Rivera I'd believe it. Subaru's handle big lifts pretty good, you can make an Impreza crawl with a Jeep Wrangler simply with swapping Forester struts (3" lift) and tires.

Its interesting to see what the stock Rubicons can do. Ive taken my stock (besides lights, skids, rockguards and 33" tires) Sport onto the rocks a bit and damn do I wish I had gotten a Rubicon. Its worth it if you plan on doing minimal modifications like me (for now). But once you go into the 35" tires you need to regear either way (some claim the Rubi can do 35" with 4.10) and say you get a long arm coil lift and better lockers youve just completly defeated the puropose of getting the Rubi.

Oh don't be sorry,it's not hillbilly by any means. It has the stuff jeep owners LOVE but have to pay even more to get i.e. DANA 35 frt/Ford 8.8 in rear Both have 4.56 gears AND LOCKERS too. 6in lift,Front and REAR winches (10500#/8000# respectively)Do you see many Jeeps with 2 winches? v-6 with a clean comfy interior (a/c too). Complete exterior is LINE-Xed . Total cost $9000.00 .PLEASE DO NOT THINK I HATE JEEPS! They are GREAT just overpriced and the axles (dana 30) should have been 44 long ago

There is no other out of the box vehicle that can compare to the jeep rubicon, mind you I said out of the box.... And i am talking in the united states, the cost to rebuild or build up a wrangler sport all depends on what you want to do and if you can do it yourself... Front and rear lockers, sway bar dis-connect, 410 gears, rocker panels (although not the best) and dana 44 front and back, Looking at a decent amount to fix a sport up to that, gearing prob being the most $ then axle swap .... still best off road out of the box ever built... and you hummer guys plzzzzzzzzzzzz....

Your comment is informed. However, only the Rubicon version is so equipped. The standard Wrangler has at best Dana 30s with 3.73 and no lockers. As the owner of a 2013 2-door Rubicon and a highly modified 4Runner that has done the trail, this is almost impressive. Chrysler should consider improving the F/R bumpers and putting 33s on the Rubicon. I know, mpg. But then get the Sahara with even taller gears. Hummer guys, agree!

gantulga ganhuyag No it isn't. Its got less approach, less departure, less breakover, less ground clearance, and far more weight, and doesn't have as low of gearing and costs twice as much. But it MIGHT be more comfortable... and that is a strong might.

Yes but 95% of the owners do not rock crawl. don't get me wrong, i like Jeep wrangler, in fact everybody wants one. but then for twice the price, triple the comfort and quality, full time 4wd, 3 locking axles.

I bought a non-Rubi and made it better-than-Rubi. It's...godawful expensive. And yes, I have better parts in some instances, but it's taken 2 years and dumptrucks full of cash. Something to keep in mind when you do lockers, diffs, axles, drivelines, suspension work, lift work, lighting.

Jeep got rid of the 4.0 before the italians bought out Chrysler and even before mercedes sold them. But I agree, they ruined the Cherokee/Liberty only a matter of time before the Wrangler becomes a bull shit C/O. However the new 3.6 has a lot of the same mannerisms as the 4.0.
