I have owner six of these including the gldtl which is quite generously speced and I have never ever seen a start button the Astra h was before wireless keys time and that car should have isofix tucked behind the seat bench they just aren’t as easy access as the Astra K not having a gripe just thought I would share my knowledge 😁😁

mattsbeamer cheers man I have owned about 6 I have had 2 Astra g’S 3 Astra h’a and we have an Astra k here aswell so I know bits and pieces and have had my fair share of pulling them apart 😂😂😂

I really thought my friends Astra h (a late one) had a system called open&start :) :D i like the astras with the very long windscreen. Do you? Would be a pain to replace thou lol My friend liked the Astra before this model

mattsbeamer my first Astra was an expolice car and it was a little pocket rocket lol! Are you talking about the panoramic windscreen option? Haven’t ever seen a lot of them I’m guessing the price of replacement is why!

Leigh Murray oh wow, ex police cars are very cool. I used to love the old senators police cars years back, when I was a kid. I loved the sound of them, which reminded me of the old e34 5series BMWs. That’s the option, I have only seen a small amount. It’s certainly a rare car now :) Are you a Vauxhall / Opel fan, or just like the Astras?? :)

The old Mk3 Astras were pretty coo, looking back at them. I haven't seen one for years. My neighbour had an R reg estate, and he loved it, and i think it did 300K before it died :)

I think they are very good stylish looking cars. I have a 09 1.7cdti. not ecoflex engine. It's a fantastic engine. I bought it nearly four years ago with nearly a 100k on it and I've done another 60k in it. Engine still pulls well and good mpg. Sounds agricultural when it's cold but a lot quieter when warmed up. The only problems I've had with it is the alternator packed up. £300 to fix and a leak from radiator. Common fault apparently. I change the oil every 6000 miles with GM recommended oil and it just keeps going. Fly's through MOTs and doesn't cost much to run. Would recommend one to anyone.

I have just traded my vw polo TDI 58 reg with 1000.400 miles on the clock after 12 year of ownership for a 65 Astra 1.6 diesel which engine is a lot smoother I also liking the extra room my son had a 55 reg 1.6 petrol Astra breeze from new in which he managed to tack to 160.000 miles with out to Many problems

Hey, thanks. This Astra was a rental car, all of the the cars in cyprus are also rental cars. I did do more but the camera footage was bad. All the cars in England are family cars. I keep meaning to film my dads cayenne thou and my 1 series

Can u use aux in the power socket?

FarGlaze hey, there is little bit of kit which allows you to replace your power socket with a usb and Aux socket. I found this video for you just to get an idea. kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y2qo1cOAYpy8dbQ.html There are also kits which allow you to fit an AUX port anywhere on the centre console. I hope that’s what you meant:) Take care :)
