2008-2016 Scion XB Lower Control Arm Replacement

Today on DIY Willy, I’ll do my best to replace the damaged front lower control arms on my 2015 Scion XB. I couldn't find good complete information on how to do this repair. I hope I shared enough in this video to help someone else accomplish replacing their control arms.
So follow along as we repair and upgrade our 2015 Scion XB.

19mm Front Ball Joint (Castle nut)....98ft-lbs
14mm Broke Hose bracket bot….14ft-lbs
14mm Speed Sensor bracket bolt….14ft-lbs
22mm Coilover 2ea bolts (Shock)….177ft-lbs
22mm Control Arm bolts 2ea(@body)….172ft-lbs
30mm x12point Axle Shaft ….(Manual) 215ft-lbs….(Auto)….159ft-lbs

I have a 2011. Does anyone know if this issue is the same with the manual transmission?

Well I'm convinced I will not buy a Toyota 😅, these engineers that design these cars don't give a hoot how hard an owner has to work to replace things, they just expect you to take it to the dealer so they can scalp your wallet to fix it. That was too big of a project, I would have sold it and put the money on my RZR 😀
