How low did you drop yours? I only went down 1 hole which I believe was one inch. Not sure how long before my got chewed up, it was a while before 8 started getting mysterious fuse blowing.

@@stockischeap7328 I actually cut the wires and rewired it. I kept the same ends just spliced in new wires and it worked perfect. Your also very welcome and I appreciate you taking the time to watch my video

Yeapers I found your harness's twin on my fender yesterday morning, I'm talking identical twin. Sure would of been nice to know this before installing them lowering brackets. How do you prevent it from happening?

kinda hard to say. i did another one and the guy wanted it ran on the outside. with all the bags and back box you could see the wire but not much of it. still works to this day. other than that im not sure. those lowering brackets are needed by some riders.

Is this a possible problem when switching to shorter shocks also? I am a taller rider, I have to admit I do like the lower center of gravity when lowered. It's back to stock height right now.

if you change to a shorter shock then your probably using the lowing brackets as well. if not then you shouldnt have a problem. the big problem is the lowering links used.

My lowering brackets have gone to the dump weeks ago when I took them off. That was even before seeing your video. Thank you again for posting it. What are you running now, stock shocks at stock height?
