    @@curtisnstacey Curtis, i wish i could send you the photo of how bad mine was when i pulled it off. Good news is, i rebuilt the harness with an extra 10 inches to run it on the side of the underbelly of the fender. Put back on the hogsworks lowering kit and shakalaka, no more issues when the tire hits. Althought im contemplating removing the lowerkit all together because the bike seems to ride better without it, your thoughts on this

    I just got done doing one of these in about 30 minutes without taking the lines off the master cylinder First I put the new booster in, don’t bolt any of the four nuts on cause you’ll want the booster to be able to move so you can slip it onto the master cylinder. Once you are able to fight it on there and get the two master cylinder nuts on, you can then line the whole assembly into the four stud holes and push it through the firewall. I’d recommend a helper to push it while you get under the dash and start a nut or two.

  • @curtisnstacey
    @curtisnstaceyАй бұрын

    @@JaydenLarson-x2i I so wish I could have done it like that. I don't have any friends that'll help. I thought about loosening the 4 nuts back up and doing it like that but I'm a big guy and getting underneath again fighting with that wasn't worth it to me. Next time I won't tighten the nuts up on the booster if there's a next time. Lol

    Just bought one of these used low miles I thought it ran a bit warm but didn't see any leaks then I could smell coolant driver side and then I spotted a few wet drip spots in the usual area that I would find them on my old jeep commander 5.7 radiator. The only positive is this Durango doesn't have a huge hydraulic cooling fan set up in the way and that was a shit crock and the a/c hard lines need to bent back a a bit to get it on and out without pulling them and recharge after . I do have an unlimited mileage warranty but I don't feel like losing my ride for the time it takes a dealer to do the job .

    @@chadkostecka4226 i bet this is your problem. over time the blend door seal wears out with the back and forth and it leaves a sticky residue especially in the summer time when its hot. so when you turn it to 60 deg it'll shut that door all the way and make it stick. so when you turn the temp etc...the sticky door is hard to open back up and it stresses the gears and breaks. here's what to do. fix it again and dont click the temp all the way down. lets say 5 degrees before it maxes out. lowest it can go is 60 so dont take it below 65 in summer. in winter take it less than 5 deg on the high end. i forget how high they go.
