This is one of the most memorable WSMs for me. At the time I was bored of Mariusz winning and I wanted to see an American take the title. I always liked Phil Pfister too. He seems like a really cool, laid back guy. Very happy he got the win.

Mark Felix was starting to get old back then but that's okay because he's still the same age now.

I cant think of another WSM where the race was this tight. Needing to outright win 5/7 events to take first by ultimately what was only a half point. Pudz would've gotten 2nd if i kept on it, but stopped because he knew he was beaten.
