But your instructions were perfect

So what that little T tab is what breaks? I just went to open my door, I herd something inside the door like a s.all little peace falls to the bottom of the door and now the handle does what the one in this video does.

Replace the whole handle

I learned that I don’t even need to replace it. I just take it out and use my finger to pull that latch💀

This is the exact video I was looking for. I don't suppose you have the part numbers handy?

Sorry for the late response, I don’t recall the part number but the Dorman product number is 79354.

@@TexThaiAuto thx, Yes I got the domain part, only to find out it was the rear reinforcement bracket that I needed to replace. That part just came in today. Thx for your help.

So my handle is crazy loose, inside the torx bolt is just spinning on the end away from the key side. Do I have to buy internal piece of the handle assembly?

If it is spinning it may have been cross threaded. You’ll need to check further on that bolt.

What if the metal latch is broken I just did everything and I can see where it used to be

I'm currently keeping the front seat down so I could reach through the back seat and open the door because my passenger side is the same way

Problem for me is that the metal tab actually snapped off

@@TexThaiAuto Sorry I mean the part in the door. Hard to see inside but I think I found a tab to release the part that holds the lock cylinder.
