TexThaiAuto

Hello everyone and welcome to my channel!
My entire goal for creating this channel was to provide amateur and professional mechanics "straight to the point" videos!
For years I have always used KZread as a source to find "how to" replace or repair videos on the cars have worked on. However, I ALWAYS had to spend un needed time watching the video because the creator would always show the whole process of removing a bolt, unplugging a wire, or removing a hose- THESE ARE THINGS WE ALL KNOW HOW TO DO!!! Therefore, I specifically created this channel so that everyone could save their valued time and just view the steps into completing their vehicle!!!
Please like and subscribe to my videos, as I will attempt to post videos weekly!

I will also be opening a website to purchase all the parts used at a reasonable price!
Subscribe to receive an update to when the website goes live!!!

So I'm looking to get a 2009 Charger here, the seller says the fuel gauge drops by quarters rather than smoothly, i feel thats a sensor issue, do i replace the sensor through the fuel pump? (I genuinely dont know but would like to know how to do the replacement myself) so any information would be greatly appreciated 👍

I needed to take out that NOx sensor or it would not quite slip out. The exhaust is close to blocking it but you should be able to get it out. How easy this should be, it is not super easy to swap out due to the space you're working in is extremely tight. This video looks like there is plenty of space, but it is very tight. If you have any trouble loosening bolts, getting wrenches in the tight spaces or whatever, then it would make it a very difficult task. Lucky, my job went smoothly, but despite of that, it took a good hour. Half the time I could not see what I was doing with it being dark and pipes or other things in the way. I needed a bright light to see up in there even on a bright sunny day. I tell you, there was lots of cussing and frustration working flat on my back with my arms in the air. My arms go numb after a while and my neck is now killing me.

I believe if it’s the same type/hardware it’ll work. You can use car-part.com to help determine the module that’ll work and I believe there are forums that discuss which models can interchange.

We replaced only the small broken pipe/hose (pretty stiff to call it a hose though). My son ordered it from amazon and it was delivered the next day. We did not take anything apart but didn't get it on the last 1/8 of an inch on the bottom connection. Now that I see this, we may take the whole unit off sometime to give us leverage to push it on all the way. He found it by searching while he sat in the car waiting for a tow. He doesn't do much work on cars, so if he can find it, others can as well. His car started shaking really bad and then stopped running when if finally broke apart while he was on the freeway. It runs OK now with the new hose, but further diagnostics also show it has a bad PCV valve as well, and those are built into the intake manifold cover so you have to replace the entire cover, not just the valve. Search for vids on that, does your oil filler cap bounce around when at idle (unscrewed for the test)? It should get sucked down but won't if the valve is bad and there is positive pressure instead. Seems to be a common problem on these.

Great video. 2004 and on have that pesky wire harness at the front of the passenger side valve cover. The clip you removed at about 4:20 can be popped open with a small flathead, stuck directly into the opening of the clamp facing up to you. Just stick a very small flat head in and push straight down gently; the clip will pop open.

This is a great video thank you so much for this. Mine is leaking on the back part, how much does work like this roughly cost? I’m not afraid to diy it but do I just remove clean edges and see where it failed at? 🤔 Also I saw you didn’t add a lot of silicone, is it not necessary?
