Check the clutch because you can hear it slips a bit. Z4 owner here - its good car but not enough fast after a couple years

Absolutely!
Also you can easly do 5.5 with this engine. Probably you need new clutch and more stickshift driving experience
The Coupes are so much better 50% more rigid!
