Best car I ever owned!

I just picked up a ‘04 BEW and wish I would’ve known to get an ALH. Everyone tends to lean towards those. I’ll make mine great still! I just did a ton of maintenance, next is performance. I’d like to go with the vnt17. Love the way yours sounds!

Alh is mainly easier to work due to easily accessible injectors, it gets a little better mpg and doesn't have any issues with the Cams. The BEW needs to have their cam replaced sometimes. That's the main differences I've heard online since I became an alh owner 6 months ago

@@foreskinonlinereadymove783 There is. ALH has injection pump, cam doesn’t drive the injectors. BEW has a lift pump and the cam is what pressurizes the rail. Also, stronger internals in the BEW. There’s more but smaller things

Nah PD engines are most used in Europe, along with the vps, etc!

Sounds great man, why did you upgrade the intercooler pipes?

I had bought the car off of a guy years ago. This was his daughters first car. She had actually wrecked the car causing damage to the passenger side fender area. The factory Intercooler pipe was damaged in wreck so I decided to upgrade while I was there.

Can I download sound bite? Vw tdi Alh 5 speed? Vzw phone?

I assume you have the cat deleted in this video. If so, what size piping did you use to replace the catalytic converter and what about the muffler part

It’s a 2.5 inch stainless straight pipe exhaust from turbo back. I bought the system years ago off buzzkin in Canada. Don’t think they sell it anymore.

Kerma tdi had what was called the Q-Pro like 7 years ago. They would send it to you and you would tune through obd 2 port. That’s how I tuned this one.

Where did you get all the parts for the straight pipe

I ordered the kit from Buzzken Exhaust years ago. They were out of Canada at the time.

How good is Kerma on these on these's TDI's?

Been running this tune since 2017 and have almost 100,000 miles on said tune. Absolutely no issues with my experience!

It’s not too bad. Definitely not obnoxious, but every diesel I have is straight piped in some way so I could be “use to” the louder exhaust. I don’t think it drones hardly at all.
