How to: Cat and muffler delete on 1999-2005 Volkswagen Jetta
Step by step instructions on how to remove catalytic converter, and muffler on a 1999-2005 Jetta.
Pipe used: 2 1/4”
Flaires: 2.175”
Lengths:
Middle pipe: 31.25” (both ends flavored)
Tail pipe: Aprox: 36” (one end flavored)
Clamps: 2 or 2 1/4” x3

No, I drove it for over a year and never had any issues with over spooling
Do you think the lengths are the same on the same generation beetle
When you had the muffler chopped was the exhaust rattling on the body at all?

Lol hes stupid, if u get a proper catless downpipe the o2 sensors go right in to that pipe

I’m not sure, it would mostly depend on if there are any sensors after the Cat. If there are any sensors after the cat, I would guess it would develop a CEL code.
what you do about the O2 sensor?

Nothing. All the O2 sensors are before the cat

Nothing. These vids are for people who drive illegally. Don't need to pass emissions because they have no license, insurance, registration, etc...
