looking into purchasing my first ALH TDI, about roughly how much would it cost to get a similar set up. not trying to break records, just want a fun daily commuter.

That's what I wanted as well! You could easily make that happen for around $1200-2000. I would get a clutch tune and nozzles. You could do the G60 clutch cheaper which should hold nozzles and a tune. But if you ever plan to upgrade the turbo I would go with a SouthBend! If you call Kerma and talk to Chris he can help you make a build plan and point you in the right direction! I honestly don't want to know what I've spent on my car...

Cameron Coll KermaTDI is in the testing with their exhaust systems. Im not really sure about the MK7 products. They would be your best bet in the states for sure.

Is there a lot more noticeable intake sound from the driver's seat after you put in the OMI?

+Ike Bentley Its hard to say I put an Exhaust, Turbo and OMI all at the same time! I am also still using the stock air box. But with all three there is most certainly a huge difference in sound! I say it is well worth the money. Especially after you pull the stock black pipe and look at the difference.

orkeyadam1 In this video I have a home made 2.5inch pipe basically from the flex pipe back. I am now running a 3 inch turbo back from Kermatdi which is in one of my other videos.

It all depends on how I'm driving! I've seen 50s many time and can pretty easily get 700 miles a tank. But typically with my driving style I'm seeing between 40-45. I have a pretty heavy foot!

+ph4nt0m this time of year depending on the temps my mileage has dropped to the to 35 or close too it but only when it's really cold... I had that issue last year and I changed the coolant temp sensor and the thermostat. Haven't looked back since.

How aggressive of a tune are you running? I have all the same mods except omi, and exhaust and mine is quiet and doesnt smoke compared to yours...can't figure out why..

ballerboys1000 this tune is not very aggressive. It is a max fueling tune but only running 26psi. Need to delete your cat as well. I was running a straight 2.5 inch turbo back then moved up to the Kerma 3inch turbo back exhaust.
