I just want to thank you for posting this video. We went to AutoZone and bought the part. It was very difficult to get the right cable plug out it required some digging around the edges. Finally got it out and it fixed the problem. Airconditioner works! 😁

Thank you for a clear video with other possibilities! I was able to fix this myself (which the hubby wasn't able to do...) in 2020 (on my trusty, but dusty, 2003 plain Caravan. 1/4+Million miles and still the best vehicle I've had (bodywork not withstanding). Tuneups and some new parts; Shrek is good to go! ;-)

On our Focus, it turned out to be the fan speed switch - replacing the resistor didn't fix problem (which usually it does). Well now we have spare resistor pack.

Hey guys anyone can help me out ? I have a 01 dodge caravan and I recently replaced the resister but my wires keeping burning and the fan speed isn’t working at all , is it maybe the resister again or is it the heating fan ? My mechanic has already soldered news wires but more our burning now should I try a another new resistor

I would think the rear fan selector would have it's own resistor pack - probably somewhere in the rear.

caliente y frio? apaga primero frio? porque caliente? no funciona? quando as puesto Air conditioning on? sorry that's how much Spanish i know but it should work.

@@LivingInAVan What I just watched was close to my issue. At first, the blower worked fine every time I went somewhere, then it started delaying but eventually came on. Now nothing.

ooh look how dirty it is inside there! I better hurry up and clean it before my Charles see it!

All I get is clicks. No blowing.

I got same van today and guy told me it was the resistor...I only get heat coming from the back nothing blows in the front
