Very nice! I wish a company would make a small 1500w 12V inverter/charger. Small backup ups stype for sump pump or furnace.

I use an RV charger/maintainer for my old 12v setup and works great

I learned a lot from you I understand you are busy ..I miss your content you slowed down on videos

Just got mine and tried it on a Dyson home vacuum to make sure it works. Not sure of Dyson peak startup but it started/runs A-OK pulling 1100w continuous. Not sure why my earlier comment was deleted but I was able to get 10 dollars off by using promo code MINI. I understand my vehicle can only do about 40a continuous from the alternator but got this as part of my go-bag stuff because one never knows when some emergency AC might be useful - especially since we tow an all-electric camper.

thats weird, I did not delete it, Im sorry. thats great that its working well for you! im very impressed with these new inverters. when I first got into solar I bought a few cheaper inverters and they all blew up on me. these days seem like even the cheaper units are doing a lot better, and this one is one of the best ones.

I wish they would make a stand alone, 3,000 watt. I bought the inverter/charger planning to Mount it in my rv, but decided to build a portable power supply instead. The problem is that type of inverter weighs about 50-60 pounds, so add 3 x 100 amp hour batteries and the box will be at least 120 pounds, and my body can’t pick that up anymore, lol. The inverter/charger is also much, much larger, so not good to pack into a roll around tool tote. I really need the 3,000 because I want to be able to power my camper when I stop to rest, even fire up the AC for a nap, heat something in the microwave, or make some coffee, lol.

Yes, it's not designed to be hooked to a house

According to their web site, this inverter should handle a 4000 watt surge.

Normally the surge rating means nothing but in this case I kinda believe it :)

There's alot of good 12 volt inverters out there any more
