Thanks for testing incl. load test. Seams to be reasonable. The rough explanation of the circuit was a bit weird tough... Would be interesting to do an efficiency test on different load situations. Most of these chinese inverters are not very efficient, esp. on low load and heavy load.

Nice video… I might just pick one of these up. Just fyi when checking a fuse I always remove it from the circuit. I’ve actually had a blown fuse check good because your meter will read back through the circuit.

I love cats and all, but not a fan of cat videos, so I stayed here for this video!!! Joking aside, I think you've always been very obviously objective about doling out critical observations just as much as you do compliments on quality and functionality, etc. In fact, I think if I were a manufacturer, I wouldn't send you anything unless I was feeling pretty confident about the quality, so I really appreciate your reviews!!!

I'm my experience, if it comes with a cigarette jack it's not gonna be great. I have no issue with super cheap inverters for powering things I don't care about, assuming they actually work and don't catch fire. I try to stick to pure sine wave inverters, but to be perfectly honest, I've never been very happy with the price vs function of any solar product I've bought. Some are certainly better than others though. Great review anyway. Very thorough. 👍

As always another great video. The proximity on the input lines was the first thing I noticed. Also the fusing arrangement is kind of weird. I would have thought they might have fused the outputs as well. I do like the access to the fuses from the outside so you can do a continuity test on them. The plugs is a weird thing. If they are a friction fix for the wire going into the back of the plug that can get intermittent if you move them back and forth. ( I had a power strip that failed that way. Screw terminals are much better.) Now as far as the cat videos you need to suggest to watch one instead then you need recommend one. Here is one for you kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z5mF2ZSlkc-nhqw.html. Hey Jeff, I was glad about the external fuses and then see the two soldered inside and was like WTF. I suspect this was based off 1000W inverted that was "upgraded" for more power and those fuses needed to go somewhere.

I bought 1, after 3 days place error code E-5. Any help please how to fix it?

The “manual” had a list of the error codes, I don’t recall that one off the top of my head

You’re gonna have to clean that place up a bit…

As someone that designs power electronics, I don't think I would use a modified sine even if it was free. The harmonics get into everything and create a messy EMI/RF environment

Wow those plugs are horrible , makes you think they did absolutely no testing at the factory , what they couldn't find a plug to test this in China ? We need more stuff made in house , bring jobs and quality back here ! Or we settle for bare minimum and watch the world fall apart i guess ...

"Solar Power Inverter" BS! "Modified Sine Wave" What a POS. Display shows 118VAC, but it meters at 122VAC. Another red flag that says JUNK! I recommend you throw that thing in the garbage. I LMFAO when you said you are going to put it in your Jeep. OOOF.
