Memories. Got pulled over on that 4 lane stretch of hwy 1. Wrote me up for "excess of 140mph while pacing 2 other vehicles." Pulled all 3 of us over. Big big fine, but the look on the #2 driver's face when he coasted up behind me with oil and smoke pouring out of his $100,000 911 from trying to catch my SS was absolutely priceless. So sweet!

OK, if this thing has 2000 horsepower, and it develops that much horsepower at around 5252 RPM then its jacking out 2000 ft lbs of torque at that RPM too. From what I understand about turbos and boost it could be making that much torque at 3000 RPM too. That is pretty brutal. It would be nice to see this thing make some passes at the drag strip.

If I was gonna have a car like this built, I would ask somebody with a lot of trans and axle experience to rig an AWD system. There is just no way I would trust two DOT legal tires with 2000 HP (race gas, mind you, but still). There is a guy in France who has an AWD Chevelle. Apparently it can pull 0-60 MPH runs in 2.2 seconds. He used running gear from a GMC Syclone. Failing that I'm sure someone will fabricate something for you.

All the cars competing had to drive a total of 1000 miles to get to every track. They actually pulled their tool trailers behind their cars. Check it out. It's here on YT.

Sweet engineering. We were building big blocks and small blocks back in the 80's, that would perform on the street like this. Testing at the Gainesville Raceway, driving out to the track from town. He could put 10,000 HP in that car, but if he is not getting it to the pavement he may as well only have 1000. The most we could get to the pavement with any success was about 1200 HP in a daily driver. Impress me with your traction.
