@@marcoallin I owned and rode several 180-230hp sport bikes but these are much faster than the turbo Busa, ZX14, and ZX12s I've seen at the track. Some of them have had similar power to these, or that's what the owner's claimed.

This was a badass experience! I’ll never forget how awesome the people where, how fast they where. Last but not least, the fun experience with Romeo and Javier! TRC capturing the stuff you never see!

I worked for STM and they're HORRIBLE to work for. They hired me to run the CNC saw @ $12.50 an hour knowing I have years of CNC mill, lathe, saw, programming experience. I said alright. Then they tried to stick me behind a CNC lathe and expected me to do that job for the pay rate of a saw/general labor guy. Then when I said if I'm running different/more advanced machines I want to be compensated as such. They then said "it's only for a couple months until we hire someone who can run it permanently." I said "hire me to run it and find a saw guy. I'd be happy to do it full time at the rate of $18/hour." They said they needed me on the saw. I then said okay. From now on I'm going to run my saw only. They said "we need you to run the Haas lathe." I collected my check and left that day. Ridiculous, far less than professional behavior. It's like saying, I paid for Ecoboost mustang but want to drive the gt 500 until I can pay for it.. what a freaking clown. 😂

I'm from Milwaukee Wisconsin and Love seeing local events on youtube like this.

In the late 70s, I knew some tractor pullers who had trouble keeping the heads on tight. The particular tractor was the the German Deutz brand. They ran straps over the head to help keep them in place. As in tractor pulling, those snow mobile engines are right on the edge of hand granading. Unbelievable power levels.

I can honestly say after having ridden nearly every power sports machine my whole life that nothing tries to pull itself out from under you like a sled. Add snow and big padded pants and you've got a recipe for doing a superman if you don't hold with your legs

Yup, using Japanese heads. American engines are mosly still catching up. Ozzie, here, my Barra turbo blows away most American road going engines.

This is awesome, this looks like something more attainable for the average Joe, it's not an F1 car :) I'd be curious how that acceleration feels compared to other racing/motor sports, the snow must add to the feeling of speed!

They really are best ridden on trails through the woods/mountains or other beautiful scenery to blast through. Wide open lakes get boring pretty quick cuz they're really only good for drags

Q16 is a race fuel made for intercooled forced induction engines

So I did some calculations. These snowmobiles, which weight around 500lbs and have 1100hp, would have power-to-weight ratio of 4400hp per ton. That’s more than 3 TIMES of a Formula 1 car! 🤯

I've ridden in and driven some pretty fast cars and owned two r1s a 99 and have a 22.. I absolutely would not get on one of those lmfao they look absolutely terrifying..160 mph on a couple of toothpicks for steering and a giant chainsaw for a tire.. yep not this guy

At some point I feel there will be either fully automated race/drag systems by either assisted racing or autonomous racing using AI. Tech using programmable stuff seems over powered when it comes to the skill of the driver. Having chutes come out at a certain time and break appliance by a computer should I feel would be only activated if the driver is nolonger in control. Like if your keyed and you fly off the key is pulled and the vehicle auto shuts off, cuts off fuel and applies breaks. If "unmanned" or drone style racing comes into play for vehicles too fast and/or dangerous for human racing should be an alternate category.

I’ll pass.
