Part 11 is the end of the chapter for the Blazer build. I have more things I want to get done, but it's back together and back on the road for now.

Nice job! It really is getting harder and harder to find interior pieces for these things that aren't all cracked, broken, chipped, clip posts broken off, or melted. It seems like it wasn't really all that long ago that all this shit was still in junkyards everywhere, but now a lot of them have become little more than clearinghouses for scrap metal tonnage and catalytic converters. I'm in good with one of the yards in my area, so they call me anytime they get an S-10 or a Blazer in the yard, and I get to go out and see what I can see in the way of those plastic pieces or whatever else I may need. That's really trailed off to almost never anymore, but every now and then...

And this is why I just subscribed! Watched quite a few of your vids and let me tell you the effort you just put into this is inspiring. Gonna get my rig running asap. She needs new engine, but she is worthy. Good job man! Keep up the quality vids, and I'll keep watching. Kudos!

I love the steering controls. I don't have that on my 02' ZR2. Headliners are super easy to install. Remove the old one, go to a Carpet place & buy the material, then get spray glue & a razor blade & after you tear the old off, just lay the new one over the headliner, fold in 1/2 spray the liner, then stick the material to one 1/2 then repeat. I used to do headliners & they are really easy to repair. That engine will last ya over 300k miles easily like mine 🤟, you got the same stereo I got in mine. lol

Great job! I wouldn't have gone that deep into it personally, but I can appreciate what you put into it. I'm curious what your final bill was lol. I just bought a 2001 4door that only has 65k miles as as a winter beater here in northern Ohio.

Yeah finding interior plastic parts for S10s and S10s blazer are pretty hard, especially the bezel and door panels, and they’re hard to find in junkyards too aswell.

That's awesome 🤟 I'm. So scared to take my dash apart & replace my heater core. It doesn't rattle & my AC blows super cold & all the actuators work fine. If I tear mine apart? It would rattle like a snake.
