The strongest visual aspect of a watch that initially draws you in is without a doubt the dial. For me personally, the dial is the most important starting place in falling for any watch, even perhaps more than the caliber inside. In this video, I'll take a look at some of the best watch dials you can get from the truly affordable up to around $2,000.

If I could keep only one it would be the green as it is more unique and alive which is what made me want the watch in the first place. This green dial is special.

You’re churning these videos out thick and fast! Keep them coming great work!
Never apologize for a Seiko. If we take the price limitation out of the way, in my humble opinion is the GS SBGH267 a watch with the most beautiful mesmerizing dial ever.

Meh…over rated. I own a sarb065
Seiko has always been the king of attractive dials and recently, they have even further carried it to a fantastic level. They are an inspiration to other companies, including big ones.

I love what seiko are doing at the minute but that longines is gorgeous. Great video teddy
Great selection, Teddy!! I would love a sequel to this video for the $2k-5k range. Cheers
My blue Seiko Presage Cocktail is my favorite watch in my collection. The entire Presage line are stunners.
Great video. I enjoyed seeing so many watches. You covered a lot, but didn't overwhelm. Good work.
Love the blue dial of that Seiko. Such a smart nice looking watch!
Recommendations for beautiful dial watches. Exactly what I was waiting for! Thanks Teddy :)
Great content, Teddy! I was kinda hoping the Seiko Manta Ray would make the list, but I have to say that Zelos Nova is amazing.
The self model is amazing and a bang for the buck. I enjoyed all of the selections presented. Well done. I say the Longines yesterday, and its beautiful.
Just starting to become a regular watcher (no pun intended) of your videos. Great stuff!
So many beautiful dials. Something I really love. Also case, crown and bezel treatments.
Some cool choices here. Like the Orient Symphony, the Bulova Frank Sinatra, and the Longines.
Amazing video Teddy, just what I was looking for.
the Nomos and the Seiko Presage are stunning!!
I like my Tissot T-Sport’s striped dial face and love the way the second and minute hands go under all of the 5 minute markers.
so many things to learn have kept uploading in this channel 👍
I learnt about a lot of brands I have not heard of in this video and what they offer at a very affordable price point. I enjoyed it very much. Thank you
Love the Oris Burgundy Big Crown Pointer. May have to add that to my collection. Really enjoy your comments plus seeing a young man with a watch addiction instead of the latest phone.
Excellent video, a lot of tempting options, thanks.
Teddy pumping out content like a factory. Keep it up Ted!
Love the video. Job well done!
Always look forward to your videos!
Thanks for the great video, Teddy! Keep up your work. What is your opinion about the Tissot Chemin des Tourelles with blue dial?
Gosh, I'm still so glad I bought the SRPF41. It makes me happy every time I look at it. Absolute steal for a beautifully textured dial at under $500. So badly want an SPB089 to round out the colors in my collection.
You realy nailed it this time ... nice choises
That texturized Seiko was stunningly gorgeous and definitely a baby Grand Seiko!
The Longines also looks a lot like the Baltic Bicompax. Love this design. The oris big crown with the green dial is gorgeous. Thanks Teddy for your videos. I love your content. :)
That Zelos Nova is a show stopper. The dial is exquisite, the star field look mesmerizes.
Awesome list... Keep up the good work
Woooow, that Longines looked amazing.
I’ve been loving the texture and sunburst effect of the dial on my blue Orient Kamasu! Definitely worth the about $300 price tag
a lot of contestants here in this pageant. I'm loving that Anordain. The adventurine close second. great episode.
I was passing a watch store in a shopping mall the other day and was surprised to see they had a Seiko stand in the window with some Presage models on display - it’s the first time I’d seen them in real life. I’ve got to say I was absolutely blown away by how good they look in real life. Also more to my surprise, the piece which most caught my eye was the Zen Garden model featuring the white dial with the vertical herringbone stripes. Absolutely stunning up close and I couldn’t believe just how good an around £500 watch could look.
I have the SRPD09 and love it. The dial is THE BIG reason I got that watch. Thank you for validating my opinions, Teddy 🤣🤣 !!
The dial is the eyes of the watch, look closely and you will fall in love Some amazing dial and the Oris Big Crown is one of my favourites, another favourite of mine is the Omega Railmaster, especially the denim colour, the vertical graining is amazing.
Great segment. Well done. Creative topic. Very entertaining. Keep up the good work.
I was lucky enough to buy my anOrdain Model One directly from their studio in Glasgow, Scotland. When I visited they were busy developing and perfecting the fumé enamel process but you could see how beautiful they were going to be. Incredible value for such unique and exquisite pieces. Lovely people too.
I bought a Seiko Prospex Turtle - Save The Ocean Manta Ray edition because I absolutely fell in love with the dial. It's a beautiful gradient blue that darkens as you move away from the centre featuring subtle manta ray shapes. The dial is also textured to give the give the appearance of waves and the texture is very reminiscent of an oil painting. It gives the impression of being in the depths looking up to see manta rays silhouetted against the ocean surface. Also, the dials are slightly different between the version that comes on the rubber strap vs the bracelet version. The strap version features three manta rays, while the bracelet version has four manta rays.

This was my most recent acquisition too. Gorgeous dial and has become my daily wearer. I got the one with four manta rays as I liked the more vibrant blue to black than the Dark Manta version.

Thanks Teddy - great video, dial is also hugely important for me. And great to see a Scottish watchmaker on the list. Lucky to say I own 4 of these watches, in different colours. Recently saw the Longines Silver Arrow re-(re)-release, it's a beauty I think!
That Max Bill is one of the best looking dress watches I’ve seen at any price point. I just love the look

Thanks for doing this! You reminded me to pick up an ordain it it's 2,400 btw. The Longines looks so good and doesn't get enough love in general! Also the Longines big eye has an amazing dial too in blue.
Hello Teddy, Yours is one of those channels where I can give a thumb up even before watching a video. I know I won't be sorry I did. And as I expected, this turned out to be a feast for my eyes. Bravo!
SRPF is solid, classic AND the right size (even if you don't know it yet !!). A strong compilation, Teddy, thanks. If I was asked for recommendations in this bracket, I'd share this.
Nice review, Teddy! The most interesting dials to me from this video are probably the: 1. Sinn 104 Green dial 2. Max Bill 3. Green Seiko dial
Seiko is crushing it!!
The last watch I bought was the sharpe edge blue dial Seiko and I have to say it’s been hard to take it off the wrist. It just works so well with everything.
Great looking Seiko really starting to like their look good review as well
I just inherited a Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 5 day/date and haven't taken it off my wrist since getting it 3months ago. Absolutely love it!
The fact that several Seikos made it to this list means the brand must be doing something great. I believe there are more Seiko lovers than snobbers out there. :) Great video as always. Thanks for sharing your unfathomable watch knowledge once again !

Great Job !
Loved the video.
Would love an updated version of this video!
8:22 I love the star dials like this a Lange & söhne and the patek Philippe celestial and the debethune !!! simple sports watches and simple dress watch dials don't impress me I've always liked the star dial and moonphase watches!!! 😎👍
Love the Nomos Club orange!
I love the bezel on the Oris. That Longines is one of my grails.
I have fallen in love with my SEIKO5 full lume watches one in silver tone another in gold. They always get me a wow what kind of watch is that!
6:38 exactly what I was waiting for, I saw this and I knew I would need to have it and I love it
Seiko killing it with fantastic dials.

Tell me about it! I'm on the fence with a Omega Planet Ocean as my first really nice watch, now I'm not even thinking about it! I was actually pricing an Oyster Perpetual Rolex, these inexpensive available watches are just as beautiful!
Seiko are stunning. And with great quality.
I listen to Teddy before sleep. It relaxes me.
I would vote for the MeisterSinger N°01 - Blue Dial. From what I have seen online, the blue changes shade depending on the angle, and the domed sapphire enhances the effect a bit more.
Great review 👍
The Tisso looks great 👍
There's also the limited edition Seiko Starlight, which is probably their best dial in the presage lineup, but they're quite rare to find nowadays
I have that Seiko SPB167 - it’s sophisticated, eye catching and blue collar all at the same time. A future Seiko classic!
For my money, the Cocktail Time Negroni belongs on this list. It was my first "grail" (I have a very low budget for such things) and I still just stare at that dial constantly.
The Rado True Square Green Dial looks crazy as well!
My choice of watch is a Seiko SPB093J1. I find the porcelain dial with blued hands reflects beautifully and is unique to anything Seiko does (not Grand Seiko) and definitely is very unique for the market as a whole. It goes retail over 2k, but can be found for less.
Pre-ordered the Nomos Club Future Orange a week ago. So gratifying to see it on your list! Nomos were rather vague on delivery timescale though - two months ish.
Great selection. I just love my $8000 Mido Multifort Patrimony, blue dial. Totally an eye-catcher.

Before seeing the video, I’m going to say that I’m likely to see some Seiko action.

They're beautiful, I love that Sinn Orange one! Seiko inexpensive models are really beautiful also! I just love them all!
Laco certainly has a classic look with quality and certainly evokes clues from watches that were made early last century.
That Longines Heritage blue hands with symmetrical quadrants is stunning. The pearly ring encasing the numbers is eye catching. A bit out of budget but can be a grail piece for the frugal gent. I am loving my Hamilton American Classic Boulton Hand-Wind. Just purchased it. I love the off white dial, blue hands, Roman Numbers and rail railroad seconds track. What are your thoughts on it? It is a bit large to truly be considered a dress watch but I am loving to wear it when dressed up.
Love your channel! Thank you!! I am a fan of seiko dials as I probably mentioned before... a couple of years ago they released the presage zen garden with open heart in silver! Wow! Looks white but not really! Haha! The layers in the dial are stunning! Model SRPC83J1 The strap is great as well!
Teddy, I love the Junghans Maxbill. A true classic. I also suggest the Fredrique Constant Classics Index Auto. It has a great looking dial.
Super Collection. All those whatches are very very beautiful. My dream is to have all this collection
I recently bought the Seiko samurai Manta Ray version beautiful dial !
Glad to see Tissot represented. Good choice, although I prefer the Le Locle (Silver). I am a huge fan of the Junghans Max Bill (Anthracite is my favorite version). And that Oris pointer date is gorgeous.

I have the rose gold Le locle with black textured dial. It is a beautiful watch and looks much more expensive than it is. I wonder why no one mentions the Tissot le locle watches. They are great
Interesting pieces. Regards.
Love the Junghans Max Bill, always liked a dial that was just the hands, no date nothing else.
The Lorier Geminis are the most beautiful affordable watches for my taste. Love anything with a Panda dial and a mechanical chronograph.
Can you link all the specific watches in the description? It would be great to see the models and names easily. Love your reviews!
wonderful video, my eyes loved it
Nice video! Now we need the same video with a higher range, from 2k to 10k!
Two Casio which I Love to wear for mostly because of their dials along my WC and Omega Seamaster 1-Casio Edifice ETD-300 DY 2-Casio Edifice EFM-100. They have probably one of the best dials under 150 USD.
I still think the Mondaine railway dial is the easiest to read by a long way. Yes it's bold, but clean; and being elegantly understated overall. Just got a Stop2Go, and with a couple of different straps it's so versatile. I did have a Longines Conquest VHP titanium (21st b'day present, now gone...), but although it looked nice and was very, very accurate (I measured the rate at losing 4s in a year on mine) it wasn't actually easy to tell the time with a quick glance. I do like the Seiko approach to dials - next on my wish list!
Teddy, one thing I'd love to see if you have any interest in the concept, would be a series where you showcase other men's fashion accessories alongside specific timepieces. Especially of you included some of your awesome interview and lifestyle videos where you showcase collections from prominent figures like Kevin O'Leary. For me personally I have a serious fine jewelry collection, which plays a significant role in which watch I chose to wear on any given occasion. Just a thought I wanted to share with you, love your style man. You have me inspired to get some more contemporary sport coat cuts in my wardrobe, looking sharp sir!
i have the red oris and it really is a beauty. case finishing punches above its weight imo
Love that green Presage at 6:15
Great dials. Have you seen the Borealis Cascais v2. The cobblestone effect is cool.
omg presage reminds me of snowflake and the orange and blue nomos are the best one
I own the SRPF53 and it is lovely, but a little 'cold'. I also have the gold tone version and it's got a lot more warmth to it. I know the model numbers as SARY142, SARY146, SRPD42 and SRPD39, just FYI. Note that there is another version with the same dial but the date at 3 as well, not sure why anyone would want that over the date-at-6 versions but there you go. Really nice looking watches with sapphire - to my mind all presage's should have sapphire but that's sadly not the case so it's nice to see here.
