Your Wife: WHO is going to clean all this mess that you left in the kitchen? You: Don't worry about it!
I'm not a great cook, but I still like trying! Sometimes when I mess something up I imagine Aaron saying "Don't worry about it!" and it strangely makes me feel better. :')

With cooking i view every dish I make as a learning experience. I've been cooking for a long time, and have heard many good things about my cooking, but even I still make mistakes. Heck even failures can turn into something unexpected. A great example is something that actually happened about 4 days ago. I was trying to make an asian inspired beef and veggie stir-fry and decided to marinate the meat overnight using things based on a recipe I had found that day. Long story short the meat ended up strangely tasting like beef stew after I slow cooked it in a crock pot, so I made peppers and beef with it. You would think that'd be weird, but it was surprisingly good. Like Aaron says, don't worry about it! As long as your trying your learning, and thats the most important part of cooking. I wish you luck in all your cooking endeavors.

i love how soothing and gentle their videos are. aaron's soft voice and gentle "don't worry about it"s are what make them so easy and comforting to watch

My one year old daughter gets so excited every time she hears Claire's voice, but she gets REALLY happy when she sees Claire. She gets happy when she sees you, but you're not on screen as much as Claire. Also, your videos make me want to try more Korean food, but it's not as easy or authentic where I live. In California? Easy AND authentic. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania? No.

Don't give up the hunt, I have three really good Korean restaurants and two crappy ones, in Springfield MO, we're WAY more rural than Pittsburgh! That said, learn to cook it at home, a lot of Korean dishes are surprisingly easy to make. My wife introduced me to Korean food about 20 years ago now when we were dating, and I saved the date in my soul. The first half of my life was dull and boring, the second half (so far) brought her, and Korean food, into my life and everything has been better since. We were shopping for a house a couple years ago and we stopped at one home that was owned by this elderly Korean woman. The basement was all bare cement walls, and it smelled strongly of bleach, kind of scary at first. Then we get upstairs and on her back porch are about a dozen clay pots I recognize immediately: she's fermenting kimchi! I literally squeeled with joy and almost made an offer for the house if she'd teach me to make that kimchi!

As a Californian I disagree, it depends on where you live in California so it's not always easy(to get ingredients) and authentic
Aaron, I just cooked the first recipe to my husband, and he loved it. You're a chef genius. Thanks for sharing.
I’ve spent years trying to convince my husband to try cooking. And we love your channel and he’s learning not to worry about it! He made gimbap by himself (huge!!) and he’s trying a lot of your recipes. We made the katsudon tonight! Thank you so much for your channel and your awesome cookbook. We made the katsu in the airfyer and it turned out delicious! I sprayed the breaded chicken with cooking spray on both sides and then nine minutes at 360F. I’m intimidated by pan deep frying. :)
I make your Teriyaki sauce all the time it's so so good. I sometimes make it for Christmas gifts. This long video was like watching the Aaron and Claire show on tv. I loved it!

Hearing Claire's "mmmMMMMMMMMmm" and then high pitched "MMM MMM MMM MMM" is always amazing and makes me so hungry lol.
Yesterday I made the ramen at home, I modified it a bit, because it was difficult to get some ingredients at noon, so I replaced the chinese chilibean paste with some spicy paprikapaste (paprika flakes paste), the cornsyrup with sugar, the porkbelly with coocked bacon slices, and the grinded pork with some chopped bacon, and it was really flavourful.
Coming from a college student. You are amazing! thank you
