Hey, you, hello. Welcome to the Natural log house channel.
Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Aleš and my mission is to build people a home, not just a house. I have been associated with wood and forests since I was a child. I promised myself that if I ever built a house, it would be wooden. My wife and I founded the company Natural log house with the help of my two assistants Andrija and Tilen. The vision of our company is to build a home for people, in which uniqueness and nature come together. A home that is built according to their wishes and desires, down to every detail. A home that is bright, warm, and inviting. A home where they will always feel like one with nature. On our channel, you can expect content that shows the construction of wooden houses from beginning to end, step by step, under the hard-working Slovenian hands.

Great work on building these houses! One tip for improving insulation in the future is to overlap the insulation pieces, moving the second layer for a half length. This will significantly increase the energy efficiency of the roof and walls. Keep up the good work! 👍

Hi! You did amazing job! For future, the insulations pieces should overlap (you need to move the second layer for a half length). This will make the roof/ walls (insulated structure) more energy effective.
Very nice to watch ^^ some rather interesting techniques... many thanks for sharing :) that hammering of nails in tone with the classical piece absolutely floored me btw xD

What are the roofing tiles? Is it terracotta or something else? What is the expected lifetime for the roofing tiles? This question applies to Log Post and Beam house 2022.

As a builder (stick-built) I'd say $300-$500 per sq. ft. depending on features. Similar stick built comes in at $150-$200 materials only on these same lay-outs. But the logs are first class. Well done, men.

16" / long screws seem such a waste rather than steel brackets. and regular joints there are covers. amd dexorative finishes.
How about some eye protection for everyone! The Boss won't pay you if you can't work!
Sadly, one day all these houses in the middle of the woods will be abandoned. Then, future KZreadrs hundreds of years from now will arrive on this abandoned site and wonder who built these homes and who lived there once.

It's a mini tower crane. Terex is one manufacturer who makes them.

For those wondering where is this house being built, this is in Slovenia bordering the following countries: Austria, Hungary, Poland, Ukraine, and Czech Republic. Donald Trumps wife Melania is from Slovenia.

Yes Slovenia not Slovakia, Slovenia is bordering with: Italy, Croatia, Hungary and Austria, You counted those bordering Slovakia. everything else is correct :)

Вопрос разрешите,пожалуйста? Нужна ли здесь пароизоляция? Я у вас не увидел,что вы устанавливаете какие -либо мембран на стены изнутри,только с внешней стороны установили теплоизоляционные плиты. Не будет ли намокать от пара утеплитель?

I think they are in preparation for rails for photovoltaic system to indtall solar cells on the roof!

Holds snow and/or ice from slipping off the roof. Places with heavy snow, can use the snow as a insulator.
These home must be like Swiss cheese.

Doing joinery with a chainsaw that I struggle to do with a chisel.
This has to be European countries somewhere but All of the houses are not completely finished we would love to see them completely done and finish work on them.

. Подшивка крыши снаружи нерационально, утеплять будет неудобно с внутренней стороны.
Утепление с перехлестом стыков?не не слыша.
Строили,строили.а получили барак.Каркасник.
My father would say as comfortable as living in a cigar box.
And none of the roofers use any sort of safety harness ...
Между бревнами нужно проложить непромокаемый уплотнитель, тогда не придется конопатить через несколько лет. Не благодарите.
