What happens when insulation settles ? I install a nice bit of blown in and it settles a lot in attics

Я себе такой дом построил. По этой технологии двойной брус. Заказал домокомплект и мы за месяц под ключ его собрали, на фундаменте с тёплым полом. Живу уже 5 лет в нём. Тепло светло и никаких крыс и мышей, в эковате они не живут. Суперррр технология. Я живу в Иркутске у нас морозы бывают за 40 градусов.

@@user-wh7dh1eu2d у нас 22 см между досками. Кстати мы эковату задували аппаратом. В прошлом году в скрывал верхний угол и она нигде не просел и мышей нет потому что в эковате добавляют буру. Качество эковаты зависит от производителя. Нам повезло.

Exactly the same as my summer house. 10m x 6m, all pre cut timbers just like this house. Once I had constructed a firm, level base, I assembled the walls myself in just 2 evenings during summer. I didn't even look at the instructions as I had already viewed a constructed version - mine just had the one internal wall to separate the sitting area from a workshop area. What I did find strange, however, was the frequent use of the chainsaw to make 'adjustments'

А вы уверены, что крепление саморезами соответствует технологии монтажа бруса? И что вы скажете заказчику, когда они полопаются?

добрый день, саморез нужен для фиксации при монтаже, когда собираеться весь комплект целостность конструкции создает жесткость.

добрый день "двойной брус" это имея собственное, так же называю "двойной шпунт", в сумме стена получается 220мм это уже брусовая категория

hello, each of the boards of 45x145mm in the standard has a common "pie" of 220mm (insulation can be made 130mm as here and more and less)

добрый день, с эковатой в стенах не используют.

Мне понравилось. Хорошая технология. В разы лучше чем клеёный пенопластово-деревянный брус.

Wow, this is a fantastic house and I know that the utilities must be very low for heating and cooling this home. I don’t know what the costs were to build it as I imagine it took quite a few man hours but I know it was worth every penny that it cost. 😢

Would love to have a house built like this in Texas. Beautiful work and craftsmanship. I would use impact drivers instead of drills though.

​@@user-yt5ld3oj4q It looks like these boards are about 2x8 with double tongue and groove. You could just have someone in the US do milling for you. It looks like the engineering is the real work product here. You could license the plans/system to someone like Phillips Forest products. There are also companies in the US that already make home kits. You might try one of those manufacturers to license the system to. I can even see how this could be incorporated into another building system like timber framing.

Oh I am so embarrassed for our building industry in Australia, after see the detail and care taken with wiring and joinery sealing compared to what I have recently seen here in Perth, Western Australia while inspecting new houses being constructed

Love the chain saw joinery. Great to be able to buy the house pre-cut, and you only need a mallet to assemble it. Accurate machining in the factory. Amazing job when finished. nice outside colour scheme, too - grey walls and white trim. What was the roof covering?

That's a cool looking way to manufacture walls, but it's a lot more wood than is needed and every piece of wood that spans a wall will contribute to your thermal bridging. If we all build like that there won't be any more trees left :)
