My hair has naturally lightened to a reddish-brown along the lock, too. It looks black from afar but shows off this surprise color up close and in the light. I love it. Naturally colored by life, literally. I’m 6-7 months behind you, having started establishing my locs December 17th and finishing January 19th (almost 300 locs by interlocking the length of my hair, took forever to do by myself lol). I guess I’ll consider myself fully and officially two years deep on the 19th this month. Thank you for making content! Love you, your locs, and your process ♥️

I thought i was insane for noticing my locs shrink up. I wash them about twice a week and there's good growth. But they do shrink 😂
