I feel you on not wanting just anyone in your hair. That’s why I chose locs. I want long hair but I didn’t want the professional maintenance that would come with loose hair. Locs are perfect for me and it’s such a unique journey. I’ve learned to appreciate my natural features in a completely different way. It just looks and feels “right”, I don’t know how to explain it. I wake up at 5 am or 6 am and shampoo my hair 💚

I have thick locs 44ct & my hair is 4c. I sleep with a fan and it still takes my hair two days to dry. 😂 plus my hair and scalp can drink up some oil.

Wow! That's crazy that it still takes that long. That's a good idea though. I will be doing that in the future! Never thought to do that. Lol

i stopped brushing my hair several months ago now, After only using a natural shampoo once within g the first couples weeks, i decided to start only washing with clay (powder clay like bentonite or kaolin mixed with water ) it's been a complete game changer. Also sleeping on wool cotton or any natural material feels much better

Your hair is beautiful. I have locs they are medium size locs. If I want thicker locs can my hair styler combine them to make them thicker?

Thank you. 🤗 Yes, a stylist should be able to combine your locs. Depending on the method used, it can be expensive though.
