I will be getting my forth set of loc's soon, and I want to keep them short, The same length as your start a loc's . They look so cute on you. I don't want to let them grow long. So I guess I will have to have them cut like every 6 months maybe? But I love yours, they look so cute on you.

Okay, question 😁. I want to start my loc journey but my hair is only 2 in long with a LOT of retention so my fro is barely an inch. How should I go about getting my locs done? And which method would you suggest? I guess that's two questions 😅❤️

You can wait until your afro grows out some more and start your loc journey off with coils or whatever method you would like to. Orrr you can attempt to see if you start off with coils. Me personally I wanted to wait till my TWA grew out to my liking before I started my locs. It’s all up to you☺️. You can always try it now and if you don’t like it then grow your hair out some and try again. Hope this helps some✨

why it seems like most ppls locs, grow faster in the first year n the rest seems to slow, they were like the same length from 1yr - 1yr8mth

I’m not sureee but I have noticed that! Shrinkage is definitely a thing somewhere in your journey. Everyone’s loc journey is slightly different.

I use Dr. Bronner’s peppermint soap, Jamaican black Castor oil, Apple cider vinegar and water and sometimes rose water. I have a specific video me discussing my go to products as well
