I have a nightly routine where I read the scriptures then watch your videos on what I’ve read. It’s slowed down my reading quite a bit. Lol But it’s so hard to read one chapter only. So I usually listen to half of what I read that night, then the other half in the morning. I appreciate these videos and your commentary page so much!

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (October 6, Pentecost 17), 2 Timothy 1:1-14 was our New Testament Lesson (or Epistle) of the Day.
Know what you believe, Know whom you believe.
This is good.

Ha ha ! Anytime one speaks "THE TRUTH" from "GODS WORD".... ones words are twisted...one is slandered... one is lied about.... words are put in ones mouth even when "one" doesnt say a word....😱🤯😟😩😢

Pastor David says someone should lay hands on you to stir up the gifts. Aren't you the pastor? you should be the first candidate, plus the bible says be careful who you have laying hands on you.

He looks very sloppy for a pastor. I always heard that Christians were supposed to look like they were in God's house. I wonder what he wears when he's out at a fancy restaurant. Probably a suit and tie.

Matthew 15:1-3 and Mark 7:5-9 It’s not about your appearance that is pleasing and holy to God, it’s about your heart. I believe David had a good and pure heart. And it definitely helps that he speaks very sound doctrine.

That’s what you got out of this sermon? Calvary Chapel Pastors aren’t suit and tie guys. If you’d rather listen to the high dollar suit guys promising you blessings if you give them your money, go right ahead.
