The Cape Buffalo might be the bravest animal in the kingdom. So many of these videos of them coming back to save one of their own. Awesome video, by the way. Thank you.
The 2 beautiful Queens almost had dinner. They were amazing in their takedown. Lucky cow her big bull’s saved her. We know the predator seldom wins and this is one of those cases. Thanks guys as always

Those two buffaloes that stepped back to save their brother did a wonderful job. One could see how furious and determined they were not to go without their brother.

I really enjoyed the nature video, with the Buffaloes and Lionesses, so glad the Buffalo ,was saved by the herd, it was inspirational to watch Thank you . 🐃🐃🐃
Highly intelligent and dangerous animals. Cape buffalo are amazing.
These two lioness are so brave that really make me feel my blood round all over. Amazing ! wonderful footage !
Smart and strong Buffalo as well, first it defended itself very well, against one lioness. But once it was attacked by two lionesses, it became difficult, but was smartly able to keep its nose above the water, what allowed him to continu to roar and ask for help. That in the end seemed to make the difference, it was noted and two huge buffalo's were so brave to return and provide assistance and saved its herd mate. Well done.
It is great to see the water buffalos be smart enough to work together and help each other. Love it

That was amazing. When lioness dove under and grabbed that buffalo by the throat it seemed like it was over, and likely would have been except for those herdmates. That was incredible. Great sighting.

@@wheelmanstan Right? It's that Evolutionary "Red Queen Effect" Constant improvement by both predator AND prey. I was surprised they didn't go after any calves (that we saw anyway), as that seems to be the general action plan on those steep slopes, but they are bold lionesses.

Content pour les buffles !
It's easy to forget that Buffalo one on one are actually dangerous to lions. It's only when a large pride can isolate and tire a buffalo that the tide is against the bovine. Only tigers and male lions can easily handle such a large and dangerous animal alone. These lionesses were outnumbered, outmuscled, and perhaps outfitted here. Lovely catch as usual

Correct is that they are dangerous to lions yes, but dunno how many clips you seen but trust me even a single adult lion can put down a buffalo, having said that, it depends on the circumstances, lions can ambush their prey, adult male lions can put down a buffalo on their own one to one thats for sure

@@dritemolawzbks8574 both your statements are too speculative. Buffalo herds have an instinctive RULE to defend or rescue any of their members, whenever possible. It doesn't have to be a relative. Two, that buffalo got up and ran (twice!!). Sick or old buffalo don't do that....!!

@@dritemolawzbks8574 ...I definitely agree that the targeted buffalo looked older and weaker. I noticed a few such individuals as they were coming down to the river. Big difference in appearance from muscular animals in their prime. And she went down pretty quickly, from just one lioness. She was an older gal alright. That big 'bouncer' guy that came in to rescue was a whole 'nother ballgame. Those lionesses didn't even THINK to challenge that guy, lol! 😺

Doesn't often end up that way once a lion is locked in on a buffalo's throat. Good for him!!!!!
Real unity,real friendship
Love this stuff!!
[ 4:40 ] Throat lioness and the 🐃 bull were the A-team and both in their primes. The throat lioness had an inexperienced partner, and was overmatched but that elderly cow wasn't coming out of the chock hold on her own. The 🐃 bull took the time to figure out how to flip the throat lioness without killing the lion or harming the elderly buffalo cow.

Nice vid shows the buffalo are thriving ! Do buffalo ever get overgrown hoofs or does the walking on different terrains keep them trim? I've been watching domestic cow hoof trimming vids for a few months can't believe some of the trouble they have with roting and ulcers on their hoofs! Donkey's too... Keep up the good work! 🙌
