I was rooting for the lions tbh. Buffalos are tough to hunt. Even that calf stood up. Damn

That was so intense man great video it's moments like that, that make Africa.

I hope That injured calf will grow up and become nightmare of every lion😂

Holy, did just that buffalo calf survived?? So lucky if he did. Funny how even those young cubs where trying to help, but also very dangerous for them in all that mess,1 hit/kick from those buffalose would prob kill them.

It was amazing to see the young buffalo getting back up without difficulty after being choked by the lion for awhile.

Wow hard to believe buffalo can run that fast.

*That* was dramatic.......these lions sure work hard for their dinner , but it's nice for a change to see the buffalos stand their ground. That young cow will have this encounter ingrained in her memory.....and will have some unfinished business with these cats in the future.....

Like it or not, but in reality it is every African buffalo for themselves when a pride of hungry lionesses actually decides to attack.

Looked more like the lions themselves were trying to reach that high ground.....The Buffalos were in a favourable position.......and wouldn't "fall over" that easily over the edge.....👍🏾🐂🐃🐂🐃

Was really hoping to see one of those Cape Buffalo but its horn through one of those lions spines. The Cape Buffalo can flip a lion into the air like a rag doll, they're built like a Mack truck. All those lions and they couldn't get one buffalo, what a joke.

Buffalo even cubs can take Lion bites very easily, Lions need to suffocate with their bites or they hardly bleed... To be honest the real animals taking a risk and in danger here is the Lions 😅

The buffalos says to the lions,want us to stomp your cubs if you keep on insisting hunting us here,ha?.

Those buffalos were lucky the Birminghams weren't around that time. Better luck next time kambula pride

lions are hunger and buffalos are angry about lions

At this point, it's going down as folklore being handed down to future generations that the Kambula Pride CANNOT hunt big game; especially cape buffalo. 😂 💝🤭 To their defense, they are still very wittle (little) and quite fearless to make such attempts so young still. I hope they grow to be a formidable pride. Until then they need the male lions or they all will just starve to death. 😄🦒🦁

This reminds me of the movie, Gladiator, "Hold the line!!!"

What happened to the calf that had the bite wounds in its neck? It’s lucky day, a true learning experience.✌️😎

@@malcolmbannister1258 Why is that a shame to say. I've also often seen lions try to bite, and damage the tendens in a preys hindlegs to prevent them from running. If that is what predators do, why is it a shame to have noticed it and comment on it. Of course I have sympathy for the prey, and more often than not hope they will manage to escape, but I also have sympathy for the predator when they are unsuccessfull and have to go hungry.

Too bad the buffalo don't eat meat. If they did their thinking process would be completely different. They would think less of being prey, and more of being a predator. Those lions would spend more time running away than running towards. Like they do crocodiles. Crocodiles ain't trying to eat no body's vegetables. They want straight meat, if it comes with fur and bones that just add to the flavor.

So many lions and lionesses ? There is a need to bring the lion population to a level where they can live and allow other animals also to live. Otherwise , we will not find buffaloes because they will be eaten by the lions. The Govt. Should look into this issue without any further delay.
