You need to spray the bottom of the other pan and the dough needs to be room temp and it comes out fine.

I wonder if the technique for using one cupcake pan to flatten another would have worked had you sprayed the top pan with non-stick spray? Thanks for sharing the hints and tips too.

Or maybe just a sheet of waxed paper?
You need to spray the bottoms of the other tin or spray a glass and use it to flatten rolls.
I would do it with home made apple filling, in apple filling from can too much sugar.But I love idea of this pies.
