As a metal head And hip hop head I think this is a poor introduction for somebody who’s relatively new to the genre, I’d recommend duality and spit it out, it’s got a hip hop feel the way Corey Taylor delivers his lyrics, also “the devil in I” is a better display of corey’s vocals as far as his time with slipknot goes. I’d also recommend the song he did with Tech N9ne “wither”

Give Pantera a listen. They’re a style of metal called “groove metal”. They’re definitely different but in a really good way. Nobody sounds like them, and they have the best metal guitar player around. The songs “walk” and “I’m broken ” are immediate stand outs. “five minutes alone” and “regular people” are great songs as well. They’re full of provocative bars as well. Stevie, you have to react to some TooL, their shit is absolutely amazing! Songs like Pushit, Aenima, Lateralus, the Patient, Pneuma, etc. Honestly, all their songs hit hard. Think youd love em bro haha

Watching you experience that break-down was awesome tho. This song’s break-down is a 9 and they do it at the end again, too.

Spit it out would probably be far more your vibe from them. Still aggressive, but in a different way. Think you'd dig it.

Love to see you are getting into rock reactions. I suggest the song "Sound of Madness" by Shinedown. Great pump up song with a great message and vocals. Definitely more of something more you could rock with instead of being shocked by.
