I'm guessing people in Night Vale have an instinctive hatred for those in Desert Bluffs because they are mirrors of one another. The Sandstorm just created a bunch of portals that allowed people to cross between the two halves and confront their other selves.

The strong theme of doubles in the earlier half of Night Vale makes me think of paired electrons, and honestly I wouldn't put that theory past the writers.

Oh my GOD!!!! Two Cecils! This is going to be AWESOME!!! Keven seems really nice though , I guess Desert Bluff is more sunny ( while Night Vale is more dark) so the people there are more cheerful? wait....odd and bloodless?

Alright so I’m new to NightVale and I already know that Kevin isn’t the nicest for some reason, but like holy shit.... his voice is so pure, I would die for this man

Why is no-one talking about this brilliant advertisment in this episode? It's pretty haunting, with all repetition "incomplete?" and intonation of "feel things? Feel things?" and "ever wanted to touch something because you feel things? Because touch is the only sense you trust?" It's second best thing in whole Night Vale (first is Condos, I know like 20minutes of it by heart)

The hell with desert bluff. All they tell is lie. Even their weather section was full of lies.

Perhaps it's a lil bit like twins were everything is similar but there are minor differences that stick out? Idk.

I must say - these financial news made more sense to me than any financial news i have heard so far. I think that says a lot more about your regular financial news than "Welcome to Nightvale".
