  I was a listener, about half a century ago. Desperately clinging to beautiful Cecil's voice. Working hard every day for death. Developing & harnessing an intolerance to gluten... brought on by wheat & wheat by-products. I now, in the present, have started listening to that mellifluous voice... reaching into the future, which is my past. "Welcome to Night Vale" is one of the best (& longest) books I've ever had the pleasure of not reading. Be safe & happy, everyone💕

  I might be crazy, but was there a year 4 throwback here? 18:20: "The separation between worlds is not a veil, but mud." And then, all the way back in episode 89: "There is a cavern, Cecil. I was taken there. The ground is covered in mud. You walk through the mud, in the darkness, because you think there must be something else. But there is never anything else. For years, you walk through the mud." Is the place the Beagle Puppy put everyone, the place that made them all Strangers, a space between worlds?

  At 11:48 Spotify crashed and i didn’t realize it, and thought it was just night vale. And when it didn’t continue i was so confused. Then i got to my phone and realized the audio had stopped and i was listening to nothing. It just had the best timing.

  i NEVER comment, and i know im 9 years late to the party, but oh my god this podcast means the world to me and i love everything about it.
