The Fear Channel I'm guessing they either get stopped by the secret police and end up reprogrammed/thrown in jail/thrown into the pit in the Nightvale zoo for sensory deprivation experimentation/sent to the Dog Park OR one more of the abovementioned.... Or maybe all the roads leading out of Nightvale lead back IN to Nightvale, so you can never really leave (which might explain why Cecil's trip through Europe was through palces that don't appear to actually exist. He coul've been given false memories by the City Council). Or perhaps they get transported through a portal when approaching the Wastelands, and end up in another alternate dimension..... No, wait, that's not it. They'd just get transported to Desert Bluffs.

I was thinking the same thing. He acknowledged that _one_ mountain existed, but said it was possibly man-made and doubted the existence of _multiple_ mountains. Yet here, when he says "a mountain top" rather than "the mountain top", the implication is that there is more than one mountain!

As I listen to Cecil speak, I hear an operatic singer from my sister's computer. Somehow, I didn't even notice that it wasn't just some new background Night Vale music. Weird podcast I'm addicted to here.

I'm really enjoying Welcome to Night Vale bc I can listen to them while not having to take time out of my day to do nothing but watch or read something

I beg to differ - true nostalgia IS for the person you once were - younger, with all senses yet to be desensitized - more vibrant, with so much strength to fight the battles ahead - actual and imagined.... No, I only feel nostagia for what I once was. Roads not taken can keep themselves trimmed and litter-free without my help.But then, *I* wasn't lucky enough to get a "Continental Tourr" - I just sat at my parents' & played FF7 for three days after I graduated.

How can a so crazy podcast cure my anxiety and my regrets?

Wow they really had a Cambodian-American group on the weather. I knew I liked Night Vale ::)

I basically just ended with The Night vale Fandom DOES NOT EXIST. THE DOG PARK DOES NOT EXIST.

OMG, I love today's weather!! This is right up there with "Invoking the Duke".
