The trims turned out pretty good. That’s crazy the spray paint cans are out in the open. Here in AZ they are locked up in cages and you have to have someone unlock them for you.

Not sure if you did it but make sure you throw some clear on it. Maybe satin clear. It will cut down on the gloss unless thats what you want and would protect it for a bit longer. Eventually that stuff will wear off just through daily handling but the clear would prolong it.

Yeah we’re gonna do a clear coat on top of it, we just wanted get them in for the time being. But yeah definitely gotta do that

Looks good. Saw this just recently but ya, the vents pop out on the radio bezel and I also taped off the outside trim on the shifter bezel so the lines still match from the dash into the console

Vents are super easy to get out, you push them out from the back side. I took mine out to install gauges so let me know if you need replacements

I would have done red on the black car personally but it looks good. Just a tip if you ever have to do it again you can pop those vents out and you dont have to mask them

Yeah red and black is a killer combo not gonna lie. But yeah originally we were gonna pop them out but when we tried too (off camera) the kept popping and we didn’t want to break anything. We hate plastic lol

Hmm that’s a tough one honestly it’s whatever you’re feeling and whatever color your interior seats are etc. I’d google it and that’s what will really give you ideas

Yes, do nothing. This video showed clowns wrecking a future collectable. They over sprayed the vents and ruined the interior.

At first i thought it was gonna be tacky but it came out pretty nice!

We used a plastic adhesion promoter to get the paint to stay on the plastic. We didn’t prime it since we used that. But you can prime it if you’d want to. the paint we used was for all types of surfaces including plastic

Everyone has their color preferences! I'm sure a nice clean white would look great

The vents are stupid easy to get out. They just pop in with a plastic clip. Point them down and pull down until they pop. Then you can pry them out

We used first an adhesive promoter to help the paint stick to the plastic finish. And I can’t remember which paint we used tbh. It was from Lowe’s tho

The blue paint held up okay. I ended up removing it and hydro dipping it a carbon fiber a few months later. The cup holder piece came with the car when I bought it

We ended up hydrodipping everything carbon fiber. Looks better. Wasn't a fan of the blue and it started chipping

I popped mine off to install a new head unit last weekend, and my trim panel was pretty old and crusty, and it broke into 5 or 6 pieces, they’re expensive as hell on LMR…

That's what I did to mine lol I also did the front defrost vent under the front windshield (pops right out) and the dash gauge cover (comes out with just a few screws)...I like how you guys work together to get a job done, no matter how hard or simple...kzread.info/dash/bejne/d5qBz9qzo6bTcag.html

I honestly wanted a darker blue but the color in the store was a little deceiving. It's hydrodipped carbon fiber

Paint job was good no over spray or anything nice 👍🏽, but that does not look cool on the interior looks funny

It was a cheap solution to spruce up the interior. You should watch our latest videos we installed headers, cams, gears etc. it isn’t going to the junkyard anytime soon😬. Soon to not be NA. I don’t appreciate the negative comment. It’s our own car we have our own vision for it.

This the opposite of how to paint plastic pieces...
