Matthew, it's super offensive to use machines that actually clean the clothings!! You should know better!!1!1! You setting a bad example for the younger generation and wasting all their future resorses!!! Happy to see another post from you Matt! I've never really understood what this cycle was truly designed to wash. Maybe permanent press items? Even then the fast agitation might be a little much for synthetics, but the slow spin would definitely help with wrinkling. I'd still use Slow/Slow myself, but the more flexibility and options the better! I think the direct drives were the most flexible machines of their time, and even still today. You could combine any wash action with any cycle, (auto control) temperature, and load size, plus they got more and more advanced using things like the timed bleach dispenser on the elites. Will beat the stains right out of the clothes but can still be gentle enough for the most delicate of items. Truly fantastic machines these were and are! As always, great job on making this machine look fresh out of the box. Hope you've been well! Side note, this machine is very pleasant to listen to on slow spin. Nice and smooth!

Hey there Pat. Yep, this is fast/slow. I believe the cycle was intended for sturdy permanent press items that you would not put in the dryer
