This is NOT the agitator that has the large base and fins; therefore, fast agitation is appropriate here.

There is just something quite soothing and mesmerizing about the waterfall-like filling of this particular series of classic washers. I also enjoy watching the narrower slant-style fill of the current Speed Queens…a little too much. Although I immensely appreciate my new Maytag MVW7232HW2, it is sorely lacking in the “cascading fill” dept🧐.

This is by far one if my favorite machines. Something about the console on these is more appealing than the dark consoles, at least in my opinion. I would love to find the Lady kenmore version of this, or the Lady kenmore UFC IV machines. The lighter blue kitchenaid agitator also works very well with it!

I personally prefer the black and red lettering ones, but hey, I most definitely will take what I can find. The Kenmore UFC IV had the triple dispensers, right?

@@MatthewJames-st5wv The lady kenmore variants were the ones that had the triple dispensers, and i believe some had a light over the timer dial too. The UFC IV was the one where the timer dial only had one cycle, and was basically just used to determine cycle length. The actual cycles were selected via a dial, similar to how you would select water temp. I like the ones with the white console, with the red lettering the best. My great grandma had a very low model version of this machine, with a white console, straight vane agitator, and speckled tub, which is probably why I prefer these white ones over the ones with the black consoles.

@@DrummerboysWashersAndMore Oh okay. I know what you are talking about. Yeah I need to pick one of those. Those early 1990 Lady Kenmore machines were gorgeous. Especially in bisque.

The Whirlpool-style agitators are so much better. More to see, and they spin much more freely too.
