I'm not shitting you. I literally have been fuckin with my truck. I bought it, 4k, spent 2800 to put a "newer" engine in it. I was going to do that no matter what. I got it back.....acting funny. I brought it back to the same guy 1400....he literally said to me.....I have no idea. He put used parts in it. Distributor, I rebuilt the tbi. I've been fighting this for a year and a half. I'm no mechanic....I all but darn near gave up. I pulled out the distributor put a new module. 1 fire...that was it. I had an apiphany .....someone I'm pretty sure told me at the beginning. Check ground wires. I did, I thought I did. So with the cap off, all the coils marked and taped. The tbi , all the plugs. All most digging for the manifold. Woke up this very morning....watch this video. Went behind my engine right bellow the valve cover. Right under the fuel pump relay.........and mother fuck if that sob bolt was sticking out a 1/4". Dude I took that apart cleaned it up. Put ever back together. Record timing. That sob fired right up! Jesus is real people. The funny part is, I live in Anchorage, and it was about 20 degrees, no garage all that said....thank you man, I appreciate ya

You're most welcome. That ground strap was too difficult for me to fool with, through, Id like to have replaced it like OEM, I felt this was a good option. Hope it helps on your truck.

Exact same issue I have with my 94 K1500.. the ground wire that connects behind the engine ripped.. I can't even locate or reach that bolt.. I'm just going to do what you did here

I had found one video on KZread of a guy who changed out the OEM ground wires and followed the same path. He ended up using a combination of varous socket extentions and universals to reach it, and he even said about what a pain and time consuming job it was, as it all had ot be done by feel. While I would have prefered the OEM way everything was connected, I also know my luck, so I went for the path of least resistance and ease on this one. I hope this was helpful and it works on your vehicle.

Engine was stumbling in the 2700-3500 rpm range. Also, during times of excess idle, truck would occassionally shut off and habitually, once the truck was at operating temperature, it would stall out when you shifted from park to drive or reverse.

Limpien la tierra que va del chassis a un tornillo debajo de las mangueras de calefaccion. Y la tierra del chassis al monoblock donde conecta la transmision.

God Jesus I hope this helps me, I had starter terminals come loose and the hot wire was touching the frame it was killing the truck mid-run. I thought it was just losing fuel a TBI issue. But the hot wire touching the frame killed the starter and I change the battery. Something weird is going on when I got everything put back together now I've got a crank no start no prime to the fuel pump, and no power to the crank fuse

@@kambomwangi6704 I already changed that to no avail. I think my problem is the grounds on the therm housing. Mine has 2 eyelets on that stud. One had a white and aBlack white stripe, the other was just an eyelet the wires had burnt off completely. I need help identify these by color

I have 2 browns of the same color and another black White stripe, I also had a loan dark blue hanging out back there to I was told that went to the oil pressure switch and a green wire that I was told went to the sensor on the side of the head

if the green wire is underneath it may be dark blue but worn and be the knock sensor, plug them both back in if you can. I had to replace my knock sensor, and put a bolt in where the oil pressure sensor was since I have a swapped engine and the 92 doesnt require it anymore.
