Most GM cars in the 80s/90s used the same antenna assembly. You can buy one for about $15 USD at your Pick and Pull. There is a much better video if you search you tube for GNX antenna. You can also heat either end where the nylon cord attaches to the metal. Install the correct length of .085 string trimmer cord and reinstall. I did this on my 88 Buick Reatta and it works fine.
